Yearly Mission Beach Family Vacation

This year there were 6 of us ranging from 65 to 11 years of age. Great place. Kitchen was the most fully stocked rental we have seen (I like to cook). Location was perfect between the bay, ocean and near Belmont Park. Aaron was responsive and nice to interact with, took care of all our questions. Will definitely choose this bungalow again.

Spring Break

The bungalow was perfect for our family. Walking distance to the beach, bay, and Belmont park. Plenty of room for everyone and all the amenities to make the bungalow a home away from home for the week.

Great place for a perfect beach vacation

This was the perfect place for a great vacation. Halfway between beach and bay. The house was equipped with everything you can think of. The layout is great. Beds are super comfy! The fire pit was loved by all! Having laundry was so nice and we didn’t even have to go buy soap. Very helpful! The beach chairs were good ones and not rusted like most others. So nice that the garage fit our midsize suv just fine. We've stayed in so many different houses in San Diego and finally found one we will go back to over and over!

Great Stay

Great place in great location. Love that it has AC and all the beach gear you need. 2 parking spots in mission is rare. Addressed small concerns with one drain to host who replied immediately. Place was excellent. 5 stars. Made our 4th of July awesome.

Highly recommend

Location between the beach and bay was great. We were within walking distance to Belmont Park. The size of the house was perfect for a family of 5. Location was also great to be able to drive to the zoo, Little Italy, Old Town, and the Seaport District. Only recommendations are to update with new cushions outside and some paint jobs within the house. We rented a Yukon. It fit in the garage, but we helped guide him in and out each day. Luckily we drive a suburban and truck. This is nothing against the property owner. Just be aware if you are renting a vehicle. I would definitely recommend to anyone to stay here!!!

Family vacation

We had a wonderful experience at this home. It was fully stocked with everything we needed, kitchen things ( including a crock pot) young children items and tons of beach items. Close to the bay and a short walk to the beach.

Wish the power was more reliable

The house is clean and great for a group of 3 or 4. The power randomly went out and we didnt have wifi (the router is in the master where the power kept going out). When we notified the property manager we were told that it's a known problem and we probably have too much plugged, like a cpap which apparently was the reason why it went out last time. 🙄 We unplugged everything and reset the power breaker a number of times and it never came back. It is also not on the beach which was a little misleading. If the power issue is resolved, it would get a 5. Location is really great for downtown and lots of activities.

Perfect Little Beach Bungalow!

We chose this property for the proximity to both the bay and the ocean, and it was SO perfect!! Less than a block to the bay, 2 blocks to the beach! There is also all the beach stuff you could ever want; chairs, wagon, sand toys, tent… also loved the outdoor shower when we came back from the beach. The house was very clean and tastefully decorated. Plenty of towels, kitchen was very well stocked. 2-car garage was nice to have, tho you either need a small car or backing skills to get in it from the narrow alley. Highly recommend for families!

Amazing location!

This little beach house was located perfectly for our family trip to San Diego! Very close walking distance to the beach, and close to both Seaworld and the Zoo. It fit our family of 5 perfectly, with sleeping room to spare. We would definitely stay here again, and hope to make it back soon!

Family spring break trip

This cozy house was the perfect house for our family vacation. We have two little ones and wanted to be close to the beach. The location is perfect minutes from the beach and bay as well. The house even had a wagon and beach chairs that were super convenient for our time at the beach. The owner, Aaron, was super responsive. The house had everything we needed and even had a pack in play for our baby to sleep in. Check in and out was very easy. We recommend this house and would book in again for another beach vacation.

Great location!

Great location. Rental was like advertised. Communication good with Aaron. Outdoor furniture cushions in rough shape and should be replaced. Better instructions on living room t.v. remote would have been helpful and some additional kitchen stock such as parchment paper, cooking oil, etc. Otherwise, really enjoyed having washer and dryer, beach toys (left volleyball for future guests to use and enjoy).

Mission Beach

This cozy beach house provided everything our family needed for a memorable stay. The beach was very close and had plenty of beach toys, chairs, and even a wagon available. The fire pit was easy to use and we spent every evening and many mornings warming up on the patio. The outdoor shower was a huge plus, especially for our 4 year old…he loved it. We had the best time and loved everything about the house and location! We hope to return.

Lovely house lovely location!

This is a lovely house in an amazing location on mission beach. There are two markets and 4 yummy food shops within 2 min walking distance. It was a quiet location and the house was very tidy and had AC! It was stocked with things we needed to make a quick breakfast before we headed off to the beach. The beach wagon, toys and boards were a huge +. Aaron had great communication and we are considering a trip back just to stay there again!
