this location was perfect. Easy to find with the added plus of parking. So close to a lot of wonderful things in a great neighborhood, but far enough way that it felt very quiet and hidden. The place itself was absolutely gorgeous. Every amenity you could ask for, in a very soothing environment

The best thing about this property is the location. Parking is included. You’re not far from any major attraction. David is a great host and his directions were so helpful. Beds were comfortable. The living room furniture is not very comfortable. Couch is okay but chairs are very hard. There is everything you need in the kitchen.

I can't thank David enough for making our stay at his lovely property such a memorable experience. From the very start, his communication was prompt and thorough, providing us with all the details we needed and much more before our arrival. David was incredibly accommodating and responsive, ensuring our needs were met at every turn. It was a pleasure to meet him in person; he took the time to offer great suggestions for local adventures while helping us avoid traffic, which was especially appreciated since we were new to the area. The property itself is in a great location to get where you need. It felt like a home away from home—clean and filled with all the essentials, and cozy beds, pillows, and sheets that made a significant difference during our stay. We loved the Asian-inspired decor and David's artwork, which added a peaceful, zen vibe. The entire experience was just wonderful; I wholeheartedly recommend this place for anyone looking for a family trip. Thank you so much, David, for your exceptional service and hospitality!

Quiet, clean and lovely

Perfect proximity to SDSU for a concert. Home was comfortable and clean. We appreciated the A/C as it was summer and warm. Extra towels, linens, clear instructions, and functioning kitchen where we were able to cook meals were all wonderful. Loved the artwork and peaceful neighborhood in walking distance to Adams Ave for stores and restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely stay. You can’t beat the location! 10-15 minutes from anything you want to see! Comfortable beds and a stocked kitchen! My son and I were here for a baseball showcase at San Diego State. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Normal Heights Location

Just a couple of blocks away from all the fun on Adams Ave. Great location to explore all of San Diego. Easy Uber rides to downtown and Balboa Park. The accommodations are so nice. Very comfortable and nicely decorated. The kitchen had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the outdoor space. David was really easy to communicate with. I highly recommend this VRBO!

Great Accessible Spot!

We traveled with our two children in wheelchairs. The trundle beds worked perfectly for them, especially because we travel with safety beds for the kids. The dedicated parking spot was easy to find and was located right at the gated entrance to the yard. The ramp leads directly from the gate to the door and once inside, my kids could navigate the house easily. The zero-entry shower was fully accessible. It was the first time in 9 years we've traveled and had no trouble bathing our kids! Such a blessing. We traveled over 4th of July week, and the neighborhood was quiet and walkable, even for the holiday. I will say, the sidewalks in this neighborhood leave something to be desired for wheelchair users. Some areas didn't have curb cuts (near Madi restaurant, for example), and the concrete is in bad shape in many spots. But this is obviously not the fault of the owners, just something to be aware of. The kitchen was great, everything we needed. Filtered water at the sink. AC units in every room worked great. We enjoyed eating out on the grass for a 4th of July picnic dinner. The art in the home was made by the owner. Very nice. The house smelled great too. It was just a great place and we will definitely book here again if we can!The only con: I didn't find the primary bed very comfortable, it sags in the middle.

Adorable little home in a cute neighborhood with many things to do in easy walking distance. Our host communicated quickly and provided us with everything we might need. The home was nicely appointed, comfortable and had lovely art. We slept very well in our beds. We were happy there were so many towels for us to use! It was nice to have our own small outdoor shaded area. We would stay again if visiting San Diego!
