We had an amazing stay at this beautiful San Diego home! The location was perfect… close to everything we needed, yet tucked away in a peaceful, family-friendly neighborhood. It’s truly a standout feature! Typically, we opt for beachfront rentals, but this year we chose this larger home just a short drive from the coast. It turned out to be a brilliant decision. Excellent Property!!

We had such a fantastic time at this property! It’s a perfect spot for families and kids, with so much to do and a house that has everything you need. The views are breathtaking, the beds are super comfy, and there’s plenty of room for everyone to relax and unwind. We really enjoyed hanging out in the backyard area while the kids had a blast swimming and jumping on the trampoline. We’d definitely recommend this place and can't wait to come back again!

Such a cool pool (but warm)!

Our group of 9 stayed here in mid-February for 10 days and had a great time. We had a bunch of kids with us ranging from ages 2-18. Of course the pool was a smash hit with everyone. The thing which impressed us most was the water temperature. When we travel, we're usually trying to escape the cold weather of our Northwest winters, and while doing so we've stayed in California at various VRBOs with heated pools and they were all pretty freezing -- plus, all of our pool stays so far had included extra charges to heat the water. There were no separate heating charges here, and the water was perfect, even though the pool is quite deep by the waterslide. We had a couple sunny days during our stay, but most of the trip was overcast or rainy, but in spite of that the kids still had a great time swimming. The house was also great and had plenty of room for us, and has been updated beautifully with modern furnishes and a fun, beachy theme. Hope to stay here again sometime.

Wonderful Vacation Home

This property is everything you want it to be and more. The whole rental process and communication with Quinn was a breeze. The house is beautiful, very comfortable, inviting and fully stocked with everything you might need during your stay. The backyard pool, slide and spa are like your own little piece of heaven, especially when all lit up at night. My kids really enjoyed playing basketball on the poolside court daily as well. My family had such a great time, I highly recommend this home for your next San Diego/Pacific Beach vacation!!

Fun house with lots of amenities!

The outdoor space is truly spectacular for kids and grownups a like. We could have been happy just hanging out in the heated pool, using the waterslide, trampoline and hot tub our entire trip. And gym in garage was a nice bonus. A wonderful multi-generational play to stay.

Pacific Beach Paradise

Great property, very clean, easy to get hold of owner. Secluded back yard/pool area. Kids loved the slide! House close enough to Pacific Beach if you like the bar scene but far enough away up the hill for privacy. Would definitely stay again!

Do not book this home for you own safety.

We showed up at check in time and the cleaning service were still going on for the next 30 minutes. We waited for them to finish. We put down our belongings and went to use the pool. We had a few friends come over to use the pool while the sun was out before they were leaving to check into their hotel, there were less than 10 people in total, and it was never mention to us that a few people could not visit during the day outside of quiet hours. The home is also advertised as a 10 person house, and we had a total of 10 people in the home for an hour. If the host does not want 10 people in the home ever, he should not be advertising it as a 10 person house. Again, only 4 were planning on spending the night, like we told the host when we booked it and when he called us. We did not throw a party, we had a few people over that still was within what was allowed to be at the house according to the listing. The home also claimed to be pet friendly, so our friends brought their dog over. The dog was not staying at the house. We had 4 people total staying in the house, and no dog was spending the night. Less than an hour and a half after the cleaning people left and we entered the home, we were called and told to leave immediately, not given any warning. The host was rude, was not listening to reason, and lashed out. He told us there was a complaint about music, but we only had music playing inside of the house at a reasonable volume, wh

Awesome Family Christmas Getaway!

A HUGE thank you to the Smith family for hosting our San Diego Family Christmas vacation! The property was beautiful and we enjoyed every minute spending time together and playing in San Diego. Beyond Expectations!!!

This is an absolutely beautiful property!! Well kept, and even decorated for the season!! The information as to how to use everything was excellent, and the kitchen was the best equipped that I have every had the luxury to use away from home. The pool and the hot tub were excellent!! The yard was a private resort, and very pet friendly!! Sunset was an activity every evening!! And the Firepit was excellent in the chilly evening? This was a very pleasant experience!! Vacation Oasis

Our group thoroughly enjoyed the property with something for everyone. The backyard has been designed with every detail considered and we enjoyed the pool, spa, slide, trampoline, basketball hoop, etc. We planned for a couple days to just hang out at the house and those were some of the best days of our vacation! As others mentioned, Quinn was very responsive with any questions we had. This is a great find!

Amazing vacation spot for all ages!

Amazing vacation spot for all ages! There are simply no words for this wonderful paradise! It was very relaxing for a senior citizens and the grandchildren had a ball in the backyard! The kitchen was very well stocked and it’s the little things that count. Ample supply of toilet paper, paper towels, dishwashing detergent, please and laundry detergent. We loved all the outdoor plates so we could relax outside with our meals. Mr. Smith was prompt in responding if I had any questions. Now let’s address the elephant in the room. I know the price is a little steep but it is certainly well worth it. From here we are going to a Long Beach hotel where two rooms will cost $700 a night and will be cramped for in a room . Imagine what we had this last week a whole pool to our self a whole spa to ourselves everybody had their own bed and bedroom. It was glorious. It was well worth the price! We are already planning to come back next year!

Paradise in Your Backyard

This property was even better than described, which is almost impossible! The house was well laid out and had all the amenities you could want. The owner was super friendly and quick to respond to any questions. The highlight is the spectacular backyard oasis with pool, slide, hot tub, basketball goal. trampoline, and a bunny to play with! My family of 6 spent most of our time in the backyard and shared it with family who live in San Diego. My brother-in-law said "Michelle, you have outdone yourself this time!" So, I will say that to the Smith family, you have outdone yourselves creating this wonderful vacation home.

Beautiful Oasis, gorgeous pool & back yard setting perfect for get togethers with family or friends

Lovely property. Had everything we needed to enjoy time together at the house or take our adventure to the beach. Perfect for entertaining within our group. Plenty of spots for individuals to enjoy alone time as well. Close to restaurants and all San Diego has to offer. In the hills closer to the highway than the beach so required driving to get anywhere, but we knew that going in.

Great Vacation Home for family

We enjoyed everything in this house! My kids (all under 7) loved warm pool, slide and yard. My parents loved hot tub and relaxing environment. Location was perfect, close to everything that we needed including grocery stores, restaurants, Sea World! Quinn was very quick responding any questions and issue; we couldn't figure out how to use new microwave (very fancy one!) so he dropped off brand new one right away. It was very relaxing/fun vacation thanks to Quinn. We will definitely come back! Thank you very much.

Amazing stay - perfect place for families.

This was the best property we have ever stayed at hands down. If you’re looking around, this is the one! Property owners were very thoughtful - lots of small generous touches - and there was not a thing that wasn’t perfect. Backyard pool and hot tub plus basketball net and trampoline and hammock …all with views! We definitely hope to return again. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with our group.
