Another year, another great stay

This is our 5th year staying here and we plan to return again next year! Great location, great patio, great host, great parking, this continues to be our favorite week of the year. Host was very responsive to a need we had on day 1. We utilized the bikes available daily. Cant wait to return next year.

Convenient to Pacific Beach, Mission Beach and Mission Bay. This is our second time staying in this listing. It is very nice having the patio when traveling with our dog. There is some street and neighbor noise, but nothing unexpected for a Pacific Beach location. We look forward to another stay.

Location, location, location. Steps to pacific Beach. property is pretty basic, but with the beach right there, what else do you need? communication was easy with owner's representative. 3 bikes was a real plus for the three of us!!

Location, location, location

You just can't beat this location! It is near everything you could possibly need within walking distance. Kono's and the ocean, what more could you want?! And always have your own parking spot. Would definitely recommend.

Great location. Close to everything from great food spots shopping. Literally a 2 min walk to the beach. The unit was awesome, came with so many extras, like bikes, all things for the kitchen, towels etc. Would definitely recommend!! Thank you!:))

Enjoyable stay.

The only suggestion i have is if the host would provide a check in guide. Something that provides guidance including where to take out trash; check-out procedures - what to do with linens; TV operation; running the heat, etc. Even dining suggestions.

100 steps to Beach!

Very good place to stay. We had an internet problem (AT&T fault) and owner worked hard to get things resolved. Place was clean and as described. It is not huge but you are coming here for the beach not to sit around the house. Even though it is in Pacific Beach it was very quiet. Neighborhood felt safe, lots of shops and dining/drinking within a 5-10 minute walk, including grocery store. Really could get by without a car. Beds were very comfortable. Great sunset views at the beach and the beachfront walkway is great. Would definitely stay again.

Great option for comfortable Pacific Beach vacation

This is our 3rd year staying at this condo and it continues to work really well for our family of 5. You simply can't beat the location and value of this condo. The front patio is our favorite for breakfast and evenings watching the ocean. Parking is convenient and right outside the unit. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance and having bikes available was great for morning rides on the boardwalk. We utilized the laundry this time ($1.25/wash and $1.25/dry coins required). There's no AC but there are numerous fans available for use throughout the home during the day. Sometimes communication with the owner was hit or miss but he's very kind; we found it best to just call. We're already planning to return next year for a 4th time. Some of the furniture is starting to feel its age but we spend most of our time at the beach anyways. So glad we found this gem a few years ago!

Excellent Location

Overall great experience. You can hear the ocean from apt. We unfortunately arrived when the temperatures were in the upper 80s and the living room really heats up with its southern exposure. Could use an AC in the living room as climate warming continues. We love that the location is very walkable to restaurants, the store and the beach. Highly recommend City Tacos! Also Bare Back Grill and Enoteca Adriano. Kitchen was well stocked. Patio is super enjoyable.

Summer Vacation

Our stay was generally pleasant. The location was excellent, providing easy access to the beach, restaurants, and coffee spots. Having a parking spot included was especially convenient during the busy summer season. The kitchen was well-equipped, and a nearby Ralph’s grocery store was handy for extra supplies. There was also a liquor store within walking distance. The neighborhood was quiet, and we enjoyed spending time on the patio in the mornings and evenings. A few points for future guests to note: We had difficulty receiving check-in instructions from the host via VRBO messages, so we contacted VRBO customer service. Did not receive check-in details 3 days prior as VRBO states, They gave us the host's phone number, contacted host a couple mins after 4 Pm because we still had not rec’d the check-in details, we received the instructions via text immediately after contact. It would be helpful if the host clarified this process in their listing. Additionally, despite the listing stating a king-sized bed, it was actually a queen. In addition there is no AC, but fans and open windows helped keep the place cool in June. Despite these details, our overall experience was enjoyable.
