The host was welcoming, with a goody basket waiting for us when we arrived. The place was spotless and the kitchen well-equipped—a real blessing since we cooked Thanksgiving dinner for 11 people. The view of the ocean and proximity to the ocean were the most wonderful things about the place for us. The kids went back and forth during the day, and we made ample use of the beach chairs and bookie boards supplied by the hosts. All in all, everyone agreed it was a fabulous place to stay.

The host was welcoming and accommodating. The condo was beautiful, very clean and well stocked with dishes, beach towels and other beach supplies. The garage was actually bigger than expected based on the description, some of those Mission Beach garages can be tiny. Overall one of the best places I have stayed in the area over the years, I look forward to renting it again!

The ocean views were great. There are almost 30 stairs to get in, the cleanliness was just ok, dirty rugs, bathroom sinks leak, and both the front door and garage door locks were in bad condition and difficult to use.

Great location and view but...

Location and view were great, Beds were comfortable. There was construction noise on roof we were not advised of. Some of the dishes were dirty that had been put away. Had to wash dishes before using. Some of the amenities could be better. Each room had it's own TV but we had to sign into our own accounts to use them. The cork screws were not good, one broken. We could not park 2 cars in garage as advertised as 2 car garage. Overall we were happy with the place but the minor issues noted were disappointing as the unit was advertised as "luxury living".

Perfect Beach Getaway for Our Family!

Our stay at this beach house was perfect! The location couldn’t be better—right on the beach with stunning views and easy access to the sand. The house was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with four comfortable bedrooms that provided plenty of space for our family gathering. Having a garage for parking was a huge plus, making it easy to come and go without any hassle.This property was ideal for our family get-together with my sons, offering everyone a relaxing and enjoyable environment. We truly appreciated all the thoughtful touches and amenities that made our stay comfortable. We can’t wait to come back again!I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fantastic beach getaway!

Spectacular ocean views and convenient location

This ocean front property offers lovely views and is separated from the beach only by a pedestrian walkway. The neighborhood has a few breakfast/coffee shops within a few blocks and a dozen restaurants within a 10 minute stroll. The bay is a few blocks away and the more lively Pacific Beach is a 20 minutes walk north. The condo is reasonably well equipped though sparsely decorated. A washer/dryer, plenty of hot water and some beach equipment add to the conveniences. I would absolutely return.

Pristine Location - Home Just A Little Less Than Pristine

I understand this home is a true rental, however, for the price I was expecting a bit more in terms of finishes in comparison to the photos. For example, the base boards are pretty dinged and scuffed up, along with some markings on a few walls, and a pretty cheap couch. The front door has a pretty large gap, although I don't believe it's a safety issue, and also missing blinds (there's a very bright outdoor light above the front door). There's also no dedicated beach gear (chairs and umbrellas). That was a pretty big bummer considering how expensive rentals are from in town. However, the listing was accurate in this regard. I just think it would be great to provide, and then take an inventory. If someone doesn't leave the beach gear at the house - charge them. All that said, the home is still amazing and in an awesome location. On top of that, the management team is absolutely superb. Extremely responsive, helpful, and even tried to help me when our car battery died.

Beautiful!

Our stay was amazing. The views are breathtaking as the unit is so close to the water. Just leave the windows open and enjoy the breeze. Unit was clean and upscale. Property management was very responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

Annual Family Beach Vacay

We love going to San Diego every summer for the 4th of July holiday and staying right on the beach! The grandkids loved it! We all had a great time. The beach house was large enough for all 10 of us! It's a very nice house with great views. The kitchen is great. Our SUV even fit in the garage, which is a major plus. We really enjoyed being so close to the water. That's the best part!!! Can't wait for next year!

Absolutely amazing property!

A small group of friends stayed here for a birthday celebration and we had an amazing time. We had a small hiccup at check in that was quickly fixed with a quick phone call. Property was spotless and the view can’t be captured in photos—it takes your breath away! Location is near by places to walk to for eating, coffee, and to play (we went to Belmont park daily for shopping and rides). Property management checked in multiple times to see how our stay was and to let us know they were a text or phone call away if we needed anything. Absolutely recommend this property!
