The location was excellent. It offered beach toys, chairs and cover that was great. Our family found beds to be comfortable. It would have been nice to have some clean bedding available so we did not have to laundry the bedding mid trip. The host was prompt in their communication and provided all necessary information at check in. The unit did not have air conditioning so it would have been helpful to understand how to keep it cool. The unit was not very clean, but manageable. The outside deck was very dirty and needs at least one or two more chairs. It did not have any family friendly cups, plates or utilities for young kids so bring if you have young ones. We had a fun family vacation. We appreciate the owner offering their home has a family destination.

Property was very nice, just what we were looking for. Right on the beach, the balcony provided excellent people watching. Plenty of room for all of us. My only suggestion would be more kitchen towels, paper plates, and foil, baggies, that type of stuff.

Stay in Mission Beach

Wonderful condo with convenient access to the boardwalk and walking ability to many restaurants/bars. The condo was very clean, beds a bit hard but we like that. Sectional in living room is super comfortable and seats many. Loved having a garage space as well!

Wonderful location on beach

The condo was the perfect location... steps to the beach. Garage is very tight - we had a small suv - like a honda crv - would not have wanted a bigger car. Top bunk is very tight to the ceiling - neither of my kids would sleep in it. Overall kitchen had everything we needed and we would stay here again.

We had a great time at the condo. The location was perfect for our family. Our 5 and 2 year old loved being able to just walk out the door to the sand, and they loved the selection of sand toys for them to play with. It was easy to walk around to the park and lots of restaurants.

Great location

The property was as described and worked perfectly for our family of 5. We loved the ability to walk anywhere we wanted and loved having a parking spot so we could travel a bit and explore further.While we were in San Diego it snowed 11" back home and were stuck. The host was very accomodating in letting us stay an extra two days until our home airport was opened. Overall we had just a great time here.

Perfect

We stayed at the property while my husband recovered from a medical procedure. It was perfect.... the view alone did wonders for his mental health during this time. Met some lovely people and enjoyed the nearby food options. We are likely to return for further care at UCSD and will check availability for this property first.

Left after the first night

I am a 100% Va disabled retired vet confined to a wheelchair. I spoke to the property manager regarding the steps located around the property. Checked in on the 3rd of October, caught myself having to get dragged up the multiple flights of stairs up to the top level to in the living room. The listing noted there was no air conditioning, once we all got moved in , we had to open all of the windows to make it less stuffy. After resting a few moments I decided to get up and and walk to my master bedroom using my cane. The only issue I had about the floors were very slippery. After I got to bed I went and laid down for a spell. At around 3am my back was hurting and I decided to sit up on the edge of the bed to stretch my back. Upon swinging my legs off the bed my feet basically slipped out from under me due to the floor being so slippery. This led to me sliding off the side of the bed and lying on the floor in the prone position for a couple of hours. After my family heard me yelling for help, we called 911 for firefighter assistance to get me checked out at the Va hospital. Turns out the x rays came back negative. While I was sitting in the ER, I decided I did not want to go through all of that stress like the first night just to get to my own room, so we and headed on downtown to stay at the Spring Hill suites. That weekend turned out to be a disaster. I am not the one that usually complains about something if it’s not perfect.

Well Appointed and Great Location

We enjoyed our stay, the location was great. The place was well appointed with nice pots and pans and kitchenware. The neighborhood was quiet at night. We happened to be there during a heatwave, so having no AC was a bummer. I didn’t think to check that prior to booking, but for the price it would’ve been nice to have AC. A few extra pillows would have been nice as well. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
