The location was great. Very quiet neighborhood, surprisingly given how close the houses are to each other. We found a great local neighborhood Italian restaurant, Enoteca Adriano, and highly recommend it! My only complaint is that the upstairs bathroom doesn't have a fan. They need to add a fan.

The host was welcoming. Overall, the unit was in good shape and clean. We appreciate that. If I were to criticize one thing, it would be the main couch. It appears to be worn out. Someday, perhaps we’ll see you again.

Lovely Beach Townhouse

The house was clean, well equipped and perfect for our needs. My daughter was able to visit and bring her beagle over who really enjoyed the back patio area. We will look forward to more bookings with Surf a style Rentals.

Great Location in Pacific Beach

The unit was very nice and as described with all the amenities you need. Microwave is very small and only useful for reheating food. The split AC system was very nice. The only downside to this property is that the front door is on the alley, so whenever we walked anywhere, we had to walk through the alley that was lined with trash cans and the associated smells and flies. Getting in touch with Surf Style was sometimes difficult, particularly if we needed an immediate answer. Really close to attractions like Sea World, the beach (2 blocks), Balboa Park and downtown. Several restaurants and bars also close by. Overall, we had a very nice time.

A Perfect Place to Stay in San Diego

Celebrated my wife's landmark birthday and truly enjoyed our long weekend at the Endless Summer 2 property. Great location and within minutes of great food, local beach and communities, shopping and beaches! House was extremely comfortable after a long day out, great private yard and even though the neighborhood properties are extremely close to one another, it's quiet after 9pm and the house is well insulated. Ocean is visible from both upstairs bathrooms too! Any issues were handled immediately by the property management company, so we'd definitely stay here again and will use Surf Style Vacation Homes again!

Perfect place to stay with the fur babies!

Well stocked with everything you need for a seamless stay! Beds were very comfortable and the location was perfect and very close to the beach. Having a little yard was perfect for my dog, she loved sunbathing on the turf during the day. Bbq worked well and having the use of the boogie boards was a nice surprise too! Will come back.

Great location!

You really can’t beat the location because you’re walkable to everything, including the beach. Our dog had the time of his life playing on the beach every morning (dogs allowed until 9 am). The restaurants we went to were all dog friendly. There is AC in the house, which was really nice.

Great spot for a beach vacation

Comfy well-stocked house in a quiet neighborhood, walking distance to beach and grocery store. Kitchen had everything we needed to make Thanksgiving dinner except baking/roasting pans for the oven. Kids liked the putting green in the backyard!

Perfect for our needs

The property was all we expected for our vacation in San Diego. Within walking distance from beach, coffee shop, restaurants, and other businesses, but in a quiet and relaxing area. The property could use a little upgrade in terms of aesthetics (decoration is very basic) and could benefit from more extensive kitchen dinnerware and utensils (especially if you plan to cook). A pitcher, kitchen towels, more napkins and table clothes, would be appreciated. For us, this was not really an issue because we ate outside most of the time. The only down side is that the main entrance is in a back alley, which at night can be a bit uninviting. We regularly saw people walking by the alley and searching within the trash containers late at night. In all, we really had everything we needed during our stay and for the price and location this property was a really good deal.

Housekeeping/Appliance issues

We had issues with the following: 1. All touch points dirty especially around door handles. All doors are white so easily to see. 2. Top of refrigerator dirty. 3. Seating at kitchen table dirty. 4. Condition of pans and plates in bad or severely used condition. We had to wash most pans and plates were dirty. 5. Back of upstairs restroom door was dirty and had hair in random areas of the door. Thinking housekeeping uses the same clothes to clean everything. 6. We purchased to cook in the over to later find out the oven didn’t work so we had to throw out this food. 7. Washer machine door didn’t latch so we could do laundry. 8. One of the blanket on the bed had multiple tears. 9. Towels were severely worn. Had multiple color face towels that should be replaced. 10. Dish drying rack under sink is so dirty that it needs to be thrown out. 11. Kitchen table top was dirty; We pretty much had to clean most of dishes. Silverware, glasses and pans before using. Most was dirty. I cleaned all areas on doors especially around door handles. This location is really good but the items listed above is very below average or unacceptable. We paid to much for this rental with the issues we encountered.

Great home for a family getaway

We stayed here for a family getaway with 2 small kids and 2 grandparents. The house is in a great location, with easy access to beaches, restaurants and fun things to do. The parking is a bit tricky to find at first, but its very convenient once you figure it out. There's space for 3 cars, which is a premium for the area. The house is well stocked with everything you need and it was well maintained/clean as well. We really enjoyed our stay here and the kids especially enjoyed the beach toys.

Great location and property!

My family and I loved this property! It's a quick 5-10 minute walk to the beach, and there were plenty of beach items to borrow for the beach. Took a lap or two around the block to realize the garage is in the alley, but had no issues parking or getting in or out once finding that out. While we did have an issue with the upstairs shower (temperature options were either very hot or scalding), a maintenance tech came over incredibly quick and fixed the issue in record time. Would definitely recommend, and will be coming back here for future summer vacations!

Exactly as pictured

Too often when staying at a vacation rental, in real life, it does not look like the pictures anymore. Well, this one does! It is exactly a "what you see is what you get" property. It was clean and well equipped and the management company, SurfStyle, was responsive when needed but otherwise just left us alone to enjoy our stay. We stayed here for 6 weeks and it was a wonderful experience. Highly recommended!

We had a great day at this property. There were a few things that we needed and received within 24 hours. The propane tank for the barbecue grill were empty and they delivered them the next day. We had our dogs along and needed to bathe them after trips to the beach. We requested a garden hose to use and it was delivered the next day as well. Thxs for a great stay

We loved staying in the Endless Summer 2 house. Best location ever for our vacation. The house was super clean, well equipped and in an amazing neighborhood conveniently located literally in the middle of all of our favorite attractions. We will stay there again, for sure!
