Family get together

Christmas get together with my four children and their spouses great time at the house plenty spaces for 11 . Better than most places I’ve stayed. Two refrigerators you need that with 11 people nice neighborhood close to the beach and not too far from the airport. Plan on doing it again next summer.

Easy stay in nice neighborhood

Our family of 9 adults (3 couples, 3 singles) enjoyed our 4-night stay at "Ocean 2 Blocks", an accurate description of the close proximity to the beach. Large living area and patio were perfect for group chats and meals. We used the outdoor grill, kitchen appliances, washer & dryer with no problems. Walks to the beach and to dining were easy. House and yard were well kept and there was plenty of household supplies.

Great family beach vacation

We had two grandparents and three families with children stay on the property. The front house was spacious with room for all of us to gather. We really liked the outdoor space where the children could play and we could have meals together. The houses were very clean and beautifully decorated. It was a short walk to the beach. We liked using the beach accessories like chairs and boogie boards. Both houses had laundry facilities and plenty of parking. Lots of restaurants and groceries within walking distance. Very easy to communicate with property managers. Excellent property!

Great house

This was a great house for our family, we were all very comfortable. Location was awesome. We really enjoyed the outside space. I’m not sure how it was listed, but maybe just make renters aware of what bedrooms have what bathrooms in the main house.

Great place to stay using both units gave us great outdoor space as well as personal space Easy walk to beach with lots of beach toys to use Boogie boards beach chairs and kid’s toys Walk to grocery and lots of dining options Check in easy and quick responses from management Only thing I would mention is to use ac in living area all other ac in other rooms need to be on at least to start living room ac

Perfect Venue for Family Graduation Celebration

Great location a couple blocks from the beach and beach-walk which has cute shops and places to eat & drink. The home was clean & comfortable for the 8 of us to enjoy family time & close enough to walk to restaurants for meals & celebrations. Everyone had their own room & the small putting green was a fun activity.

Great location and well-appointed accommodations

This property was the ideal location for a reunion of friends. It is close to the beach and amenities without all the congestion, noise and parking issues associated with beach communities. Having 2 clean, well-furnished houses on the same property was a great help for our group that had couples with different sleeping and eating timetables. And, the living space in the main house was a great place to hang out. The properties were nicely configured with a modern kitchen and bathrooms. I would highly recommend this property and Surf Style Vacation Homes.

Family vacation

This property is even nicer than the photos suggest. The outdoor patios can be combined and are very roomy, with lots of seating for those staying in the two homes. There is a healthy restaurant close by, next to a neighborhood coffee shop that is frequented by locals. Everyone is my family had a wonderful stay.

We had a blast!

What a wonderful home in a beautiful location. So close to the beach, restaurants and bars. Highly recommend if you are looking for two homes that can hold a lot of guests. We had 10 adults and six little children

Perfect for our family reunion!!

We rented both homes on the property, and the space was not only beautiful and well-maintained, it was the perfect accommodations for our family reunion of 16!!! We loved how the gate opened and the common area could be shared with both homes. The home was well equipped with beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards & even beach toys for the kids! The location was perfect!! Walking distance to restaurants and shops as well as the beach!! We felt very safe. The one thing that could have been better was the garbage situation. Both outside trash bins were full upon our arrival. We had 16 people for 3 days and had to pile up all of trash next to the bins on the ground. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

A Happy Family Reunion

6 Cousins, 4 families and one exceedingly happy grandmother. The combination of two houses with a connecting garden made for the perfect family reunion. Being a 10 minute walk to the beach (at a toddler's pace!) meant we were in the water every day--very appreciative of the boogie boards and sand buckets provided. Also loved the outdoor shower which meant we could wash the kids without tracking sand into the house. Plenty of towels, too! A good house layout provided lots of communal time. Thanks so much for a great stay.

great place for large family

The two separate houses with a patio between them worked very well. You could gate off the patio or keep it open so the family could easily go back and forth. Kitchen was modern in both houses and well stocked, good appliances. beds all very comfortable and bathrooms also. plenty of room in both houses 2 blks walking to beach. Thanks for a great stay. Great family beach time.

Our family of 12 had a wonderful time at this property. It was really well located, easy walk to the beach( don’t drive. Parking is tough.) We brought a folding wagon which was great for carrying stuff. We walked each morning to Starbucks and the other direction to the Bear Cookie ice cream shop( yum) The house was well equipped, very clean and nicely decorated. The only complaint was the patio furniture had not been cleaned for awhile. We opened the slidling gate between the house courtyards bbq’d with some visiting friends.

Endless Summer 1 and 2

Good property for a large group. The houses are located about 4 blocks from a beautiful beach. The location makes San Diego attractions easily accessible. The houses are a little older than we expected and not as spacious as the pictures show.
