Great Experience and Communication

I really enjoyed my stay with LaJolla Vacation rentals. The communication from the staff was great and access was easy. Cottage was equipped with extra bedding for colder nights. Fully prepped kitchen with coffee maker(no filters) stove and microwave. I look forward to booking with LaJolla Vacation rentals on my next trip to CA.

Great location!

Right by the beach. With the listing and reviews, it was exactly what we expected. We would stay here again. It was clean and secure. Not brand new but not run down either. It is not a quiet location but we knew that going in. I would recommend this location to friends.

Great location with beautiful sunsets!

The place was clean and ready upon arrival. The maintenance gentleman was very kind and helpful above the call of duty. We had top back apt. and it is loud when trash and services for the restaurant next door is rendered. We didn’t have neighbors during our visit but their door is right next to this one. Great location. Clean and well equipped. Sunsets every night!!!

Great Locations, OK apartment

It's all in the location, which is truly spectacular. Beyond that, the apartment was a little lacking. It has the the basics, but only came stocked with one partial roll of super cheap toilet paper, no ice trays, no dust pan (kind of essential for sand cleanup) no beach towels, dated/incomplete kitchen utensils (missing blender lid, old worn pans). The noise outside is unreal, especially in the mornings. Deliveries to the bar next door started as early as 5am along with constant daily trash pickup, which rumbles the whole building and is literally right outside the bedroom window. It's too bad that the host fell short on these details because this otherwise is an amazing spot and we did really enjoy being here.

Photos look better than what it is

The location is great as far as the beach is right across the street, and Many great restaurants near by. The room did not live up to the expectations set by the photos and the description. It’s super humid in the house because there is no air flow. The bathroom is rough cuz there is no vent fan and the water pressure is very low. The bed is extremely soft! Which was rough for us but I’m sure some will like. The kitchen was nice with brand new appliances. Just make sure you bring dish soap, toilet paper, seasonings, paper towels and similar items. Also important to note the view is an alleyway not the beach in #3.

Lovely area, very close to many restaurant options, right on the beach, only downside was our balcony was looking to the alley not the ocean, try to book the other two options on this property. Location could not have been better

Get What You Pay For

We have been to OB many times and this has been the worst place we have stayed. The bed is soft and horrible, stains on the pillow case, only two forks and the furniture is worn out and you sink in the chairs. It is very loud because the large garbage cans are outside your back balcony. The beach is full of many strange people who yell at each other in the nearby Alley. I love OB but stay away from this property.

IF I COULD RENT HERE I WOULD!!!

This place was absolutely amazing for someone such as myself my husband and our dog. The only downfall is actually not the place it’s self it’s the young crowds wanting to be loud and party outside on the beach. But if you are a hermit you will truly enjoy this beautiful place once you walk inside you are safe and secure the back patio was amazing my husband and I ate Mexican food back there we got to enjoy the sun. The minute you walk outside you are right there on the beach it is some thing that I highly recommend anyone to experience. you walk a further long and the dog beach is right there all the convenient stores and shops are right there everything is walking distance the community is loving and friendly and open minded very wonderful !! For two 30 year-olds such as ourselves who are not about the hard party life we still truly enjoyed it and we will come back!!! 10 stars !!! Haha

We enjoyed our stay here. All the amenities were available and the welcome basket was a wonderful surprise. The location is ideal to shops, restaurants and across the street from the beach. Highly recommend!

Quick getaway

We decided to take a quick trip from Phoenix to San Diego before the kids started back to online school. This place was in a great location and was pretty quiet probably because so much is closed down near it. The condo is super clean and very comfortable. We had a nice time.

Great location and cute little place

The location is the best - you can walk to everything and it is steps from the beach. We watched the sunset every night with the neighbors in the driveway, and I think we ate at Wonderland every day - it was so good! It is right in the middle of all the action so you definitely want to pack a pair of ear plugs for sleeping. It was just the perfect getaway for us.

Great location in the heart of OB

Love the place, convenience to everything and Beach just across the street. Airplanes are not that bad. Not all day noise: sunrise, noon and sunset short bursts of takeoffs. The place is clean and tidy except the floor really needs a through cleaning. It looks fine but first time I went barefoot my feet were filthy from dirt

The property itself was fine ... the noise and homeless were aweful 👹

I didn’t sleep for two days ... the noise from employees next door at wonderland and Ob after closing was just rediculous ... I left at two in the morning to head home couldn’t take the yelling in Spanish any more ... I will stay at another of your places jus not there ... the coffee maker didn’t work it was just super noisy and was harassed by homeless people ... I will give it another try in may when my daughter graduates from USD ...

Great location, but not a place for peace and quiet.

As far as location goes, it's pretty close to everything. The beach is across the street, OB party central is around the corner, the pier is a short walk, and an Uber ride anywhere in the city is $10-$15 for the most part. On the inside, the place is just OK. The bed is super comfy and the appliances are new and great... As is the shower. Everything else is a bit tired and tatty, but still decent and usable. The biggest reason for the 3 star review is the noise every morning between 6 and 8 AM... Delivery trucks and garbage trucks right outside the bedroom window don't allow any chance of sleeping in and the early flights out of SD airport seem to fly about 50 feet overhead.
