Truly the most incredible house we’ve ever stayed in. Accommodating host, beautiful views, outdoor heaters, fireplace, fire pit, hot jacuzzi, warm pool, surround sound. Comfortably slept 14 of us. No one was ready to leave. House stocked with linens and blankets and an abundance of bath and pool towels. This house has everything you need. We look forward to renting again and again.

Wonderful home, everything was top notch.

5 Stars This home was absolutely amazing and perfect for our family. Steve went above and beyond helping us with all of our needs. We highly recommend this home. If you want to be in a beautiful home, that is very clean, and centrally located this is it.

November Stay

We loved the location of the home. Being perched on a west facing ridge provided lots of natural light and beautiful sunsets. The home is very close to all the amenities we were looking for. Steve was addressing some differed maintenance before our check in which unfortunately spilled over into the early part of our stay. These issues were resolved to our satisfaction by mutual cooperation with Steve. He is very genuine and responsive, we felt his primary concern was for our enjoyment of the property. The property is well appointed and comfortable. We will definitely consider another stay in a future visit to the area.

Comfortable with nice outdoor space

Our family stayed for 10 days and enjoyed the home. Overall we were very happy with the neighborhood - close to restaurants, shops, and quiet. The house was comfortable, especially the beds. There are several outdoor spaces to relax. Our only drawbacks were that there is no indoor dining table and no desk, so working on a computer or doing zoom calls was challenging. Also, there's no shade on the late afternoon.

Great Time in Del Mar

This property was exactly as described and all that we wanted it to be. We celebrated our wedding anniversary there with our children and our grandson and our in-laws. Steve was very responsive and helpful in explaining how everything worked.

Fabulous house

This house is beautiful, clean and well equipped. We enjoyed the pool, spa and outdoor seating areas so much, that we skipped going to the beach most days. We had great weather so eating all meals at the outdoor table was fine, but renters should realize there is no large indoor table for family meals.

Wonderful option for large family gathering

We rented this house for our two kids and their kids. There is ample space for kids to play, adults to have some "quiet" space, outdoor space is fabulous, pool was great for kids and location can't be beat with easy access to all SD attractions and nice views. Steve was our contact and super responsive to any questions/issues. The furnishings and electronics are all up to date and the kitchen is well equipped. It is a premium price property, but delivered on all that was promised. Also, pet friendly which we needed and is hard to find.

Top Notch Property

This property is the first time for me that a property has lived up to its billing. In fact, it exceeded expectations. Towels, soaps, paper products, etc. were well stocked. Everything we needed as far as cooking ware and utensils was where it should be. The house comes with high end entertainment system's. EVERYTHING WORKED. (Never had that before.) I have stayed in many different properties but this was the best experience by far.

Beautiful home

Stayed here with our two kids and grandma. The location is convenient to everything in North County and close to downtown. We've stayed in the area a number of times. The house was well equipped. The pool and hot tub were great. Wonderful outdoor kitchen and dining space. Nicely renovated but not so precious you feel on eggshells in someone's home. Would definitely stay again

It was a wonderful place for our family to get together. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub immensely. House is stocked well for daily living. Location is so close to the beach and other things to do. Steve was quick to get back to us with our couple of questions. 2 things from our group: Listing says 5 bedrooms in 2 spots but you have to read entire listing description to see that the 5th bedroom costs more, so it really is a 4 bedroom house rental. An easy use manual for using the electronics and pool would be helpful also. Nothing major to detract from our stay though. We loved it! Thank you!

San Diego Pool/Spa House

Great location. Zoo, Del Coronado and all the restaurants we choose within 30 mins or less from the house. Disney Land an hour away. Beach towns a 5 min drive away. House is beautiful with a great kitchen and beautiful bathrooms. Beautiful view of the Pacific and sunsets. Perfect weather. Wonderful time in an absolutely gorgeous home.

Wonderful, Relaxing, and Beautiful!

Our vacation was just wonderful, and the house, grounds, and surrounding areas beautiful! I only have a few suggestions to better the experience. We were a bit put off that the cleaning staff was still there until 6:30 pm the day we arrived. We could not relax or unpack until that time, over two and a half hours late. The house really could stand to be updated/freshened up in the ways of paint, carpet, bathroom counter tops and the like. There were features of the house that were not working like lights outside. Frankly, we thought there were far too many switches, bells, and whistles to work basic things. All in all, though, a really nice vacation. Steve, the host, really worked with us when the downstairs air conditioning wasn't functioning. It was a lovely time.
