Great house for our guys and our 50th birthday trip. Nice and clean; good wifi; large rooms and nice common area. The communication was great and instructions were perfect. Highly recommend and would rent again if back in San Diego.

July 4th

Stayed here over the 4th of July week with my family. The views were amazing where we watched the fireworks from the bay and had a BBQ. Would definitely return to do it again. Great location to everything we wanted visit and easy check in and out.

Excellent stay and views

Wonderful property with great views. Had a lot of fun and we thoroughly enjoyed staying here. Also a lot of helpful tips were on the walls on how to access certain amenities like WIFI and TVs, etc. Overall, would recommend folks to stay here in the future.

Our family enjoyed recent holidays in this fresh, updated, spacious and clean home. The communication with property managers&home owners was superb; service was professional and caring. Beds were so comfortable!

Wonderful Stay

We chose this rental due to its proximity to the airport and the MCRD base. We had a son graduate from Marine's Bootcamp. Our family was able to enjoy the space and amenities. The kitchen is very well stocked with the basics for seasoning foods. There was a bottle of Champagne and some snacks waiting for us when we arrived. The beds and pillows were super comfortable. I would definitely recommend. The airplane noise really only effects you if outside the unit. Once inside, you can barely hear the traffic.

San Diego hillside

Had a great experience. Everything was laid out in a very logical sense. Great downtown views, excellent noise cancelling installations, and responsive managers to any issue. Would highly recommend.

Incredible view and space for everyone!

We had such a wonderful stay at the Hilltop Hacienda! The views are spectacular! There were 9 adults in our group and there was more than enough space for us all to spread out and have our own private bedrooms/retreats. The owner was very responsive via text, everything was clean and the kitchens were well stocked with most everything we needed. It was fun to watch the planes take off and land. There is noise from the airplanes from 6am to 10pm, but the view outweighs that minor inconvenience. Thank you for a great stay!

Hand & Ortho does CSM in San Diego

Everything was wonderful. The only thing we needed was a couple more blankets. We used both of the blow-up mattresses. We need blankets on top and underneath. A few more blankets would have been very helpful.

Amazing Property

The house was amazing. From the views, amenities, cleanliness and accessibility. We were traveling with elderly grandparents and the 1st floor apartment was perfect. The second floor was a great space and we were pleasantly surprised to find a dart board and foosball table. The house was fully stocked with kitchen appliances, cookware and dishes. The pantry was stocked with a wide variety of spices and other essentials. We also appreciated the welcome snacks, San Pelligrino and bottle of sparkling wine to welcome us. Highly recommend this property and would gladly stay there again if we come back to San Diego.

Great Place

Loved this house for our girls' trip! It's beautiful, spacious, and well-maintained. My only dislike was the loud airplane noise from the nearby airport, but any house in this area will have that. The noise definitely made it harder to sleep, and woke us up around 6-6:30am when planes start taking off for the day. But once again that comes with the territory when staying in this area. Otherwise, the house was perfect and a great value compared to other rentals in San Diego!

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!

The best bit about this property is its location and incredible views. We sat and watched the harbor for hours. We ubered everywhere and found great restaurants nearby. Reading others reviews I think we just had a rough deal with our time there. The patio was not put together, the Sun shade was frayed through and on the floor. The explanation was that it had been windy. Maybe the property manager, knowing that should have swung by to check on everything before we got there. The hot tub was not clean, there was a layer of dust on the kitchen island and one of the doors hinges was broken so that it did not close properly allowing quite a bit of air traffic noise in. For the price and being marketed as a “luxury” rental we just expected something a little more high end. Maybe a shade/screen by the hot tub to screen from the neighbors would be good.

Wonderful stay for a conference

We stayed here as a group instead of reserving individual hotel rooms. Was cheaper and so much nicer. The view is incredible and the property is very well maintained. The upstairs unit is certainly nicer than downstairs but we had no complaints about anything. We Uber'd everyday to the conference center and the overall cost was still lower. Plus, it was easy to have groceries delivered and have food available whenever we needed it. Would definitely recommend.
