Amazing views in a wonderfully unique home

Host's description and prior reviews were all spot on. A unique home in a great (and quiet) neighborhood with an amazing view (better than the pictures in the listing can portray). The only downside was the numerous cobwebs and spiders one would come across.

Spacious, clean, and killer views

We spent the weekend here for a bachelor party and it was perfect for 8 grown men. Host was very communicative and the check in process was smooth and easy. Close to PB bars and beach and Torrey Pines Golf Course. Lots of street parking which was also a huge plus for the area. The panoramic views of the coast are beautiful. Overall super satisfied.

Exceeded our expectations!

This property is beautiful, spacious and located in a great neighborhood. The views are spectacular and the photos really don't do them justice. Communication from our host was the best we've ever experienced using VRBO. We highly recommend this property! Close to SeaWorld and the beaches with easy access to get anywhere else in San Diego. Hope to stay here again!

Wonderful location, wonderful stay

This house was just what we needed for our group of 8. The location was perfect- close to beaches, restaurants and shopping. The house had plenty of space for everyone and the house was supplied with all the essentials for cooking and relaxing. Evan was very attentive and responsive to all our needs. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in San Diego.

The location I in a comfortable neighborhood area wit easy access to the freeway. You can walk to a grocery store and good Mexican restaurant options. House is comfortable with fabulous ocean views on deck.

Absolutely beautiful view and unique home!

This house has one the best views of the city and ocean you can get for the area. We enjoyed our stay and had no major issues. Evan was very attentive and was willing to help with any of our needs like a professional. We were very happy with our stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone, and would stay again. Only a few issues we found that we hope change. Two out of the 3 beds are great, but I was the one who drew the short straw and got the hardest bed I've ever laid on. I hope this bed gets replaced as it made sleeping very hard to do. The amount of cobwebs, seems like a simple fix for the cleaners. The house was clean when we arrived and nothing was out of the normal beyond the webs. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and things to cook with. Freezer had a big bag of ice which was a nice touch. There's a sauna in the bathroom by the kitchen, but it was locked during our stay. I would love to see some better lounging options for inside and outside, for the amount of people that could stay in the place. Oddly, many lights didn't work, or bulbs were missing. Landscaping and overall upkeep is wonderful, we were very happy with all the amenities. Overall, 99% of everything was fine. The problems I listed were minor. Can't wait to potentially stay here again next year! 😄

Wonderful stay in Pacific Beach!

Loved this home…quiet neighborhood away from all the hustle in Mission. Nice local restaurants, and grocery store. Easy drop offs at Mission beach, and great access to Pacific beach. Beautiful ocean views off deck (perfect view of fireworks as well). Everything was clean and functioning. Great communication by host Evan. Easy keypad check-in. Don’t hesitate on this rental.

Great views, local feel

The views!!! We loved this home. It was private and quiet. It was perfect for our group. We could walk or drive a few minutes to many restaurants and several beaches. The home was clean and the host was attentive. Pricing is very fair.

Swanky Vintage Vibes

This place is a gem, we absolutely loved staying here with our family. The location is perfect and all the wood gives a mid-century treehouse feeling. The beds are super comfortable and the checkout process is more luxe than most. My only critiques: no drapes in 2/3 bedrooms, the sliding door on the main level is super hard to open and close (I was the only one who could open/close it), and the master shower has a temperature issue (either freezing or scalding and nothing in between).

Great Property, Great Location

This was a spring break trip with two daughters and this house exceeded our expectations. Communication with Evan was easy with fast responses. The property itself was as described and very sunny. It honestly felt like a lakehouse with privacy but with panoramic views of the ocean. The location made it quick to get to the La Jolla cove, Pacific Beach and even SD while avoiding much of a highway. I'd definitely recommend.

Great house in a great neighborhood

This house is in a very nice quiet residential neighborhood but walkable to all the essentials. The views are stunning and the house has a great layout for larger groups. It is warm and welcoming, tastefully decorated, and has comfy beds and a well stocked kitchen. Would definitely rent again.

Beautiful House, Spectacular Views

We were in San Diego for a short family weekend looking for a house near Pacific Beach. We found this property after researching many options and reserved it based on great photos and a long string of unfailingly positive reviews. Evan, the host, was very communicative and ensured that the reservation process went smoothly. We arrived in the late afternoon and were immediately pleased by all aspects of the rental - the quiet neighborhood, the close proximity to many local favorites, the quality of the house and its amenities and...the wonderful deck...overlooking PB with the ocean and the city visible in an amazing panorama. The sunset from this perch was spectacular - truly a highlight. I highly recommend Evan's house if you're looking for a quite stay that is accessible to, yet feels comfortably removed from, everything you'll want to see and experience in SD and its surrounds. Enjoy !

Ocean view beach house

Our family loved this home. The view from the deck was amazing. The yard was like a little fairy land. The kitchen was well stocked and the furniture was comfortable. This is a great location to go to the zoo, Balboa Park and La Jolla cove beach. We can’t wait to return.
