The space was perfect for our gamily trip. The property has three different units, which seemed like it would be an iaaue at first, but it ended up being a blessing because everyone had their own area to go to if they needed space. The pool and lawn area was perfect for the little ones who loved swimming all day. The vicinity to the pool and the grill/kitchen also made it easy to keep an eye on the kids as they played. The host was very responsive to my questions. My family is thinking of coming back next year.

Great property for extended family getaway!!

8 extended family members shared this three unit home. We had a wonderful vacation and thoroughly enjoyed the property and Old Towne! It was unique that each family could have their own kitchen and sleeping quarters, allowing time all together, and times of privacy when wanted. We highly recommend this property for your group or family!

Great Stay

The property was exactly as described. Old Town was a great walkable area and the amenities offered in this property were fun and functioning. We rented the property as a whole and utilized all 3 units which made for a fun and comfortable stay. We would absolutely recommend this location for those looking for a place to stay in San Diego.

Family Vacation

I lived in San Diego while my dad was in the Navy. I wanted to bring my whole family by for a visit. This was centrally located for the things we wanted to do and the pool was nice for the down time. Everyone enjoyed the stay.

Great Family choice

We spent Thanksgiving with our family of twelve, ranging in age from 2 to 78. The separate units gave privacy when needed, but there is also a lovely gathering area that we used for our Thanksgiving dinner and to hang out. The pool was lovely and much enjoyed by the kids. There is also a lawn play area with games that they enjoyed. All beds are comfortable, and a very comfortable and higher end self-inflating mattress with nice linens was in each bedroom. It is so nice to be able to wander around Old Town. There are also many restaurant choices that you can walk to. The host Katrina responded almost instantly to any question. We highly recommend this VRBO.

Great old town property for families with small children.

Great property - centrally located for a san diego visit base with lots of space to spread out. Worked out wonderful for our family gathering with 5 kinds ages 2 to 7. Pool has a section where little ones can stand up. Next to the pool is a turf section with bags and couple other games provided by hosts to keep kids busy. Very clean. Awesome shower pressure. Plenty of kitchen supplies including spices and all kinds of plates& utensils if you need to cook. Grill is ready to go with its own gas line. Ralphs and walgreens within a mile or so. Hot tub is the secondary gathering space for the evenings. Property is right by the highway - and there is some highway noise - this did not bother us with the kids running around at all times. Definitely less of a factor for back units. Host was very responsive and great communicator. Highly recommend this place if you are considering a stay.

Great stay!

Had the best weekend here! The house has everything and more that you need. The pool was the highlight and was the perfect size and temperature. The property felt very secure as there was fencing surrounding the property and gates with codes to get in. Also a very convenient location, only 10-15 minutes from downtown. Katrina, the host, was very quick in responding to any questions. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Wonderful family vacation!

Our extended family of 12 really enjoyed staying at this property. We used all 3 units, which gave us both flexibility and privacy when we wanted it.It was very well located and equipped with everything we needed. The owners responded very quickly to our questions. It is located next to a restaurant and the freeway, but we got no noise from either when inside. We enjoyed being right in the center of Old Town and within very easy access to beaches, the zoo, museums, etc. a very Merry Christmas indeed!

Modern, clean, and fun property

We rented all three units for our extended family - 3 families with teen children and one 80 year old couple. There was plenty of room for everyone and several gathering spaces. Each bedroom had a king size bed and bathroom, and each unit had an airbed and extra bedding, blankets, and towels. Everything was so clean and the whole place was open and airy. Unit 2 had a spacious great room and comfortable furniture for an indoor gathering, and unit 1 had the best space for an outdoor gathering with a beautiful, shallow pool, large dining table, grill, and grassy area. The large TVs in each unit and bedroom, plus entertainment for the teens indoors and out kept everyone happy when it was time to do our own thing. Each kitchen was clean and well stocked with everything needed to cook and serve a meal. There was a Keurig and a coffee maker, dishwasher, and plenty of serving dishes and bowls. The location is walking distance to everything Old Town, and although the property is in close proximity to the freeway and a busy restaurant, we enjoyed privacy and great conversation. Everything you’ll want to do and see in San Diego is within a 10-15 minute drive. There is one parking spot per unit and extra parking available on the streets nearby. The owner was incredibly quick to answer my questions and I felt confident our needs would be met, although we didn’t have any issues. I strongly recommend this property for groups that need separate quarters but still want to be together.
