We have stayed in this complex twice now and both ground floor units were very nice. Clean and everything you need in the entire unit. We love the location. People watching is very fun and you are right on the bay for bike rides. We will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful property, great location, a hidden gem

This is such a beautiful property, right on Mission Bay and a short walk to the beach, near Belmont Park. My husband commented on how clean the property is, as well as nicely updated and well maintained. My daughter said the shower is "life-changing," and I have to agree with her. The only other time I've experienced a shower like theirs was in a penthouse suite of a 5 star hotel in Colorado Springs. The kitchen is very well stocked, bas a big area to work in, and everything you would possibly need for your stay. Spices were provided too, I haven't seen more than salt and pepper provided before. Very comfortable seating in the living area and outside. I liked that there were clear instructions printed in different areas, like on the TVs to guide you. Management was quick to respond when we had an issue with the front door lock, it wasn't pulling back in all of the way so we were having trouble getting back into the property. Someone arrived shortly after our initial request and it worked perfectly moving forward, I knew that this is a ground floor property, but I had no idea how loud the people above would be and how much we would hear. You don't hear voices or the tv, but you will hear their footsteps. If someone's up there, you will hear them. We thought it was a toddler running back and forth, loudly dropping something constantly but then my kids said they saw a big dog. That being said, it's a great place and you will enjoy it all. Highly recommend this property!

Great spot for families

This was an excellent location for us. The property was within easy walking distance to a bay (just across the sidewalk next to the gate), a wonderful playground across the street (with a stoplight/crosswalk <1minute away), a rollercoaster across the street, miles of well-lit sidewalk for bicycling/running/walking/people watching, the mission beach boardwalk is just two blocks away, tons of food options- and this is just what’s located within 1-5 minutes of walking. Parking at the property was easy. It was clean and well kept. 2/3 rooms had a bathroom. Only downside was kids having to sneak through rooms at night to use bathrooms because the room with bunk beds did not have a bathroom- but this was a very minor issue as we were all family staying there. Communication was excellent with property management. We had zero issues during our stay. I appreciate that the bay out front was very calm and the foot traffic did not include as many homeless people or drunk people partying as the ocean side of Mission Beach. This is an important consideration because we had a mentally disabled adult and three young children with us. I’d like to bring our family back to this location- it was just great.

the Best VRBO

When I say this is the best VRBO I have ever stayed at, I mean it. The property is well cared for, very clean and well stocked. Its one of the few that has an outdoor parking spot that can fit a large SUV. We had an Expedition and it fit perfectly! The location is amazing. We walked to everything we needed and could easily sit on the porch and watch the kids play in the sand and water. We literally had the entire bay beach to ourselves. The communication with the property management was great and we had all the check-in instructions well before our arrival so there wasn't any questions. The details were straightforward and easy to understand. The parking spot was well marked too which was a plus. The interior of the place was so clean and comfortable. I will DEFINITELY book this VRBO again in a heartbeat.

Perfect getaway on the Bay

Our unit was cozy and immaculate, with brand new appliances and perfectly stocked with all the tools a cook could ever want. There were more than enough bowls, plates, cups, glasses, utensils and the like. The managers were there on the spot when we needed them. We would definitely stay there again if the opportunity arose.

Improvements and furnishings were first class. Individual HVAC in each room; best water pressure ever, supplied with everything we needed (except cold beer :))

Had a wonderful stay! The condo was clean and had a great location. We were a family of four and were very comfortable. As was mentioned in other reviews, you do hear noise from upstairs. But overall is was great experience!!!

Beautiful place

The place was very nice with beautiful views. The location was also great, we were literally steps from the beach. They had beach chairs and some beach toys for kids, no umbrella though. The place was clean. The host was very responsive and easy to reach. However we would not stay at this unit again. The issue is that it is a 2 story house and our unit was the bottom one. Unfortunately the family upstairs had 2 small kids that ran all day and it was very loud and annoying. They arrived very late (1:00 am) in the first night and it was so loud that my husband and I woke up. We complained to the host company and they reminded the family upstairs about the “house rules”. They got better, but it was crazy noisy during the day (the kids wouldn’t stop running and jumping starting at 6:00am)). I have 2 kids too, so I understand that sometimes it is hard to control kids, but this was way overboard. One day before our departure , they left. It was 100% better, a little noise from upstairs but doable. So it is basically luck. If we had the last family upstairs during all the time we were there, our stay would have been way more pleasant . But since there is no way to control who stays upstairs, I will not return, although it is a wonderful place.

Good but awfully loud

Everything about this place was great, EXCEPT one thing - the upstairs unit. The location, cleanliness, space itself - all phenomenal. But, steer clear if you want any sleep or relaxation of any kind. The renters in the upstairs unit are SO LOUD, it sounds as if they are stomping every time they walk. I’m sure it’s just the design/building itself. But I could not believe how loud it was.
