This is a great dog-friendly place to stay! Tierrasanta is the perfect location - everything (beach, downtown, etc.) is within a 15-20 minute drive. The furnishings and appliances at the place are really nice. The best part though is the large, fenced backyard area which is a great place for your pups to roam!

We loved our stay! Smooth check in/out process, host was very friendly and available for any needs that came up. The house was fully stocked with anything you could think of, including yard games and tons of board games that we played all weekend. Jacuzzi was great and easy to use. All bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The yard was perfect for our furr kids and for hanging out. We went down to Belmont Park and Mission Bay which were both close by and an easy drive. Lots of food and grocery options close to the house which was very convenient. The only thing I would say to prepare for is there’s not a ton of space to put dry goods/pantry items without taking up kitchen counter space. We made due by keeping items in boxes and bags close to the kitchen. Overall, the house was great and we would absolutely stay again. Thank you for being such a gracious host!

Peaceful, Comfortable, and Perfect for Families

Everything we needed and more. We had an incredibly comfortable and exceptional stay. The home is beautiful, cozy, and has a great view. Communication was excellent throughout. There were thoughtful touches everywhere, board games, beach gear, and plenty of space to relax. The beds and bedrooms were comfortable, and the family dining area was perfect for spending quality time together. The kitchen, living room areas, and bedrooms fully stocked with all the essentials. There was even a cute basket in the master bathroom with all the little things you might need, it was such a sweet touch. I've never slept more comfortably away from home. Our kids absolutely loved it too. We wish we would have stayed a couple more days. We most definitely would stay here again.

Gorgeous view and yard

Clean, comfortable beds, and the kitchen was well stocked. Everything was comfortable and all amenities were appreciated. The backyard was our favorite with the nice porch and fun games! Just to note, there aren’t two queen sized couch beds. There is a large twin xl sized fold out chair and several air mattresses. Still worked great for our needs! We will definitely keep this on our list for the future.

Family get together weekend

My husband and I, our 2 adult sons and our 2 little dogs stayed here for a 3 day weekend. Some other family that live in the area also visited. There was plenty of room for everyone. Big house with open space and a gorgeous backyard! Everything you need is provided in this home. Extra chargers for devices and tons of fun games. We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to stay here again in the future. 5 stars for sure!

A Home Away From Home

Let me say, our stay at Shannon's home way exceeded our expectations and I admit my bar is pretty high. She had everything one would need down to items you would have in your "junk drawer". Her attention to details were do on point. Her property was in a great location with a beautiful backyard and view. I traveled with my parents for my son's graduation from SDSU and there was plenty of room for everyone to do their own thing, or hang together and have my other son and his girfriend join us for meals. There is a Smart and Final 4 minutes away that had everything grocery wise. The home was as in the pictures, nicely decorated including comfy beds and furniture. Communicating with her was super easy - she was very responsive and a lifesaver in finding an item that got left behind. Don't hesitate to stay at her property! You won't be disapponted!

West Coast Adventure

This was the perfect destination to end our 1,500 mile West Coast adventure. Our accomodations were just the relaxing end we needed. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. The neighborhood was quiet and the view out the backyard was outstanding!Shannon was a great hostess and we would love to visit again!

Delightful Home, Beautiful View

This beautiful home is well-equipped for a family stay, with plenty of room, lots of games and activities, space for family meals, a hot tub, and a large yard with spots to relax and take in the amazing view. Shannon was a responsive and generous host. We picked this home specifically for its location close to family in the neighborhood, but it’s also a great location to start exploring San Diego. We hope to rent this home again when we visit our family next time. Thank you, Shannon, for a very comfortable weekend!

Quiet, Relaxing and Inclusive for Dogs

This is a great house to stay at while you're in San Diego. It's about 12 miles from the airport and 15 minutes to downtown. There is a grocery store about 5 minutes away. Very quiet street and the house boasts some amazing views at night. We traveled with our family of 6 and 1 adult guest and a dog - we all had a very comfortable stay. The beds are great! If you forget your chargers at home - not to worry as Shannon has you covered in all the rooms. The kitchen had what we needed to cover some of our meals. Shannon was easy to interact with. She loves and welcomes dogs. We would absolutely stay here again.

Wonderful home in central location

This home had it all..a very responsive and friendly host, great central location only 15-20 minutes of airport/downtown/beaches/Little Italy/Balboa Park, safe neighborhood, high-end finishes, extremely clean, fenced yard with expansive view, and the little touches that make a house feel like a home. It was absolutely perfect! Would highly recommend this home and hope to return there someday.

Xmas in San Diego

Amazing backyard and amenities and views (although chaise overlooking hill was broke/not useable). Fantastic kitchen for cooks... we found everything that we needed. Excellent communication with owner (Shannon).

Amazingly thoughtful host

I outreached to Shannon after another house cancelled on my family on short notice. We were in search of a house for my family of 7 to stay at and host a baby shower for my sister. Shannon went above and beyond in every way. Even though she doesn't typically allow events, she made an exception for us. She offered us use of extra chairs, serving platters, vases, etc for the party and was available and easy to communicate with throughout our entire stay. Her house was lovely as well - it's a very comfortable and updated home in a quiet neighborhood with a great backyard and view - it was perfect for our event! I can't recommend Shannon and her home enough!

No Complaints
