Parking was easy, check in/out was organized and easy, the accommodations were top notch, and the host was responsive and pleasant! The lodgings ARE in the flight path of San Diego airport, so you will see very low flying planes from several airlines, but we thought that was cool and sat on the patio in the evenings watching them roll in. I would definitely stay here again!

Great location for proximity to SD activities and little Italy. Directly under the flight path, so expect noise, but ear plugs provided which helped! Pet friendly and for that reason especially, we would definitely book again. Responsive property manager. Be aware of stairs leading to entrance, which may not be accessible for all. Overall, great stay!

The place itself was great. Unfortunately the people in the unit above us were terrible. They played loud music all night and even after contacting the host they were only quiet for one of the nights. Our first night one of the bedroom cooling units was not working and neither was one of the bathroom showers. I had to manually reset the unit using the remote control. Looked up how to do that on Google. LOL! The host finally provided instructions for the shower which is the strangest shower operation I have ever seen. It should have been provided in the check in instructions. It wasn’t. There was a nice common area outside which had a great gas fire pit which we enjoyed. There is a small artificial grass area where someone let there dog do its thing and not clean it up. Be warned that this unit is in the flight path for the landing runway at San Diego International Airport. So landings every three minutes or so from 5:30 AM until late at night. The location is central to all the attractions. The unit has pretty much everything you need. But getting sleep only two of the five nights makes it a not recommend. You may get lucky and not have rude people above you but for over 2000 do you want to take that chance? Host should be honest about all these issues. A binder with all specific instructions should be in the unit as is the case with all other places I have stayed.

We had a wonderful stay at this home in San Diego. It was close to everything we wanted to see. The owner gave us suggestions on where to eat, things to do and places to buy groceries. I would definitely stay here again if we are ever in San Diego.

We were thrilled from the moment we opened the door- this home is spotless, beautifully maintained, and had such warm, comfortable vibe.It was perfect for my whole family; Everyone had their own cozy space.While still enjoying plenty of room to spend quality time together.The beds were hotel style comfort, inviting with fresh clean smelling linens. The bathrooms were stocked with soft clean towels.The backyard is both spacious and charming-My grandkids absolutely loved it! The host is a true sweetheart, so kind and accommodating and the location couldn't have been better! Just minutes from the gaslamp quarters and many other visitor attractions. It was everything we needed, we had an amazing time here and can't wait to be back soon!

When you cook there were no dishes to store the leftovers in. Found this frustrating. If you need anything the hose was always right there to help until we found bugs. Then he texted and send photos and he did not come to see. If it was not the night before leaving, we would not have stayed the night. We would have checked into a hotel instead. My daughter could not sleep and headed out at 4am for her drive back home. Sad way to end a vacation.

Great house as advertised. Location was perfect. Safe neighborhood, walking distance to little Italy, interstate access close by. Easy check in and check out process. Host very responsive. House clean, beds comfortable, large master bath. Excellent stay.

Fantastic place! It is our second time here. Plenty of room to spread out. Comfy beds. Living room is separated from the bedrooms so you do not need to worry about talking too loud in the morning for those that are still sleeping. Backyard is a big bonus for this area. Location couldn’t be easier to get everywhere near downtown.

San Diego Fun

The property is in a good location for easy access to the zoo and other sites we were visiting. It is in an airplane flight path, but the noise was not an issue for us. Our toddler granddaughter loved watching the planes. The property served our family well.

Great location in SD!

This is a very well located property! The place was clean, had parking, a nice backyard/fire pit, and the owner was very communicative. A couple things to note that don’t seem to be mentioned in the details or other reviews is there are a lot of stairs. A whole flight down to access the property and even some to get in a couple of bedrooms. Also, you can hear everyone walking in the unit above in the bedroom/dining room areas, as the unit is located on the bottom floor of the building. Still recommend!

Good Property but Very Noisy Outside

I wish I could give better ratings but it was extremely noisy while trying to relax outside. The airport flight path was so close you could literally see the copilot and the jet noise was deafening. The freeway is really close and very noisy as well. The property is well insulated so you don't hear the freeway noise while inside and the jet noise was muffled significantly, otherwise it’s a good rental.
