ONE THING GOOD, PROXIMITY TO THE BEACH. THE REST? AIR CONDITIONED NOT SO MUCH. A UNIT IN THE BEDROOM THE REST OF OF UNIT UNCOMFORTABLE. THE FURNITURE IN THE LIVING AREA WOULD BE REJECTED BY THE SALVATION ARMY. DINING CHAIRS CHEAP AMUNIMUM. THE BED THICK BOX AND MATRESS ON A PLATFORM FRAME. I COULD NOT SIT ON IT. TOO HIGH. AD SAYS IT SLEEPS 4, DISHES FOR THREE.NO DISHWASHER. DON'T MAKE COFFEE AND RUN THE MICROWAVE AT THE SAME TIME. IT COULD TRIP THE ECECTRIC.BREAKER. ALL THE WINDOWS HAD LOCKS INSTALLED ON THEM. IMPOSSIBLE TO GET ANY CROSS VENTALATION UNLESS YOU LEFT THE FRONT DOOR OPEN BUT THEN YOU WOULD GET OVERUN BY FLYS. ALL IN ALL A GREAT DISAPOINTMENT.

Great location

Very nice little property, super close to the beach. Plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Has a hide a bed in the living area that was comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped.The only negative was parking - they are not kidding when they say the parking spot can only accommodate a small vehicle. My mid-sized SUV was not possible to get into the space. It is extremely difficult to find other parking in the area if you find your vehicle won’t fit.

We enjoyed our stay, location was amazing you can hear the sound of the ocean and walking trails, coffee shops, grocery stores are just around the corner. Downsides: I wish they had dishwasherAnd the Couch wasn't cleanThanks to the host overall stay was very smooth and comfortable

Excellent location, great host.

We had such a lovely stay! The house was super clean, and Aaron, our host, was always there if we needed anything. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking to be close to the beach and enjoy long, refreshing walks along the shore. Plus, the location is really convenient—perfect for grabbing groceries and there are plenty of cute coffee shops nearby!Cheers!!

Cozy in a great location

Wanted a mini vacation close to the beach. Ben’s Beach Bungalow fit the bill. The short walk to the beach allowed us to enjoy the water and sunsets. Available chairs and toys were great for us and our granddaughter. A minor negative was that we couldn’t watch TV because it seemed like the neighbor’s remote may have been controlling our monitor. TV would turn on and off randomly, and the channel would change. We had to use our laptop instead.

Terrific property. Wish it was more clear that air conditioning was only via a portable unit in the bedroom. That being said, the place stayed mostly cool without it and cooling the bedroom was perfect! Highly recommend! Will be back!

We really enjoyed this place

It was clean and cozy. Extremely close to the beach, which was a huge plus. The only downside was the narrowness of the parking space. We did our best with it. I’d recommend this property to others.

Concerns

I’ll start off by saying the location was great and as promised - steps from the beach. When we arrived though, flies swarmed the carport. Whatever fine flies are flies. The unit was cute, like the photos. But there was ant bait and dead ants all over the kitchen. There wasn’t hot water in the kitchen - again that’s fine. But one morning I went to take a shower - no hot water, I let it run and run and it wouldn’t warm up. Oh also. Our first night there while making dinner a fuse blew and half the units power went out and I had to go flip it back on in the fuse box area that was just gross. But whatever - old unit. I ended up needing to burn some incense in the place because the bedroom smelled of strong urine. When it was time to leave we had until 10, but the cleaning lady was pacing outside waiting for us to leave at 9:30. We hurried to get our things out the door and then had the property manager texting us that the cleaning lady told them we wouldn’t leave until 1, which never happened. Anyways. We left and on the drive home I get a text that the cleaning lady told them we must have smoked INSIDE THE UNIT. I conveyed to the property manager that we did NOT and that I was offended to be accused of that having that I have a daughter I would never expose smoke to!!! No apologies. I was told I could be charged to rid the unit of the smell that I didn’t create. Just rude really. Not my cup Of tea.

Ideal accommodation

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights over Memorial Day weekend. It was great place to stay; roomy, comfortable sofa, comfortable bed, nice shower, well appointed kitchen. Just a few steps to the beach and the Ocean Front Walk. Good restaurant choices are an easy walk from the apartment. This is a great choice for a short stay. The only things missing for a longer stay is lack of washer/dryer and dishwasher. However, we did not cook any meals and didn't need to launder clothes for our weekend stay. We would definitely stay here again for future trips to San Diego.

Loved our stay for Mother's Day weekend!

Exactly what we wanted! Not too fancy but cute and breezy with a very comfy bed. Perfect to have the rest of the family and grandkids in the other bottom floor unit right across the entry from us. So much better than getting a place all together. Great communication from management, if needed. Very helpful. We were able to add our daughter on the reservation mid-way, no problem. Awesome location with reasonable prices.

Cute and cozy

Beach bungalow was in a great location, steps away from restaurants and beach! They provided beach equipment which was great. Owner was very attentive and easy to get a hold of. Parking was perfect. We loved our mini vacation and would definitely stay here again!!
