Loved this house on the beach! A short walk to great bars and restaurants. The heaters were perfect for cold nights and there were tons of blankets in the closets. We had one issue and someone came to help us within 15 minutes! So kind!

Everything was good except the bed was way too hard for a couple of 70 year olds. A two inch topper would have been helpful. We enjoyed the volleyball people. Place was very clean.

Cozy well appointed cottage on Ocean Beach. Everything you could possibly need and more was provided. Great location within walking distance of restaurants and shopping. Wednesday farmer’s market was fun! Comfortable bed and easy sleeping listening to the ocean.The only drawback was the multiple volleyball games on the beach every day at 4:00 until after sunset which obstructed our view. The air traffic early morning and in the evening was a bit distracting also. These are only minor inconveniences due to location but the beach was spectacular!

Cottage is literally on the beach. Loved opening the French front door to the sunset. Gated back yard with garage. Cute small older cottage and it is comfortable. Bed and futons are comfortable…lots of blankets provided. One small bathroom in bedroom. Air conditioner worked well and fans were provided. Clean- Stove and oven and fridge work great! If you’re planning to cook, you may need a couple more pans like another fry pan, and salt and pepper, BBQ worked. Deck was cute. Three little cats would roam around outside - and note that every night there is volleyball courts that are set up right in front of the cottage over beach, so if you love watching volleyball, you’ll be in the right place! Note that the pier is closed due to damage in 2023 so you cannot walk on the pier. Great beach community-you’ll be right in the middle of the action. Newport is the main beach town road with shopping and restaurants and very casual. Also has a cute coffee shop. Very close and easy to walk to. Liquor store/convenience store right at the end of the alley. Location is great because it’s near downtown, Sea World, Coronado Island. Owner overnighted a hairdryer when needed.There are some homeless and one pitched a tent on the beach nearby, but never bothered us. There’s constant lifeguard/security on beach and the beach is a nice it was great to watch the sunset nightly. Beach is clean and has local organizations cleaning it often. Owner was easy to communicate with. Check out Sunset cliffs

Directly on a beautiful lively great surfing beach. Cottage is older but clean and had everything we needed.

Excellent property, location, and host!

We had a wonderful time! This cottage is literally on the beach with garage/easy accessible parking. Which is HUGE on the beach. We had a nice little side yard with fire pit and BBQ that we used and had everything we needed right there onsite. Host is AMAZING! Checked in with us and gave us suggestions on event's that were happening in the area. We truly loved our stay and would absolutely stay again. Mary our neighbor was fantastic too! Hopefully this property is available next year for our vacation.

Beautiful Cottage

Upon our arrival we walked up to the cottage to witness a spectacular sunset. This really set the mood for a great stay! The host was extremely helpful with everything and kept in contact throughout our stay just to check in which was very thoughtful. Everything we needed for the beach was available. The kitchen was well stocked with all the basics needed for cooking. Having a washer and dryer was an added bonus, I wasn't looking forward to bringing beach sand home with us. There's an outside shower off the garage that was perfect for rinsing off after beach time. There are great restaurants within walking distance. Cute little beach stores for shopping are just blocks away. I would definitely stay again!

Quaint Little Cottage

Great location! You are literally on the beach!! Great ocean views from bedroom and front room. Private backyard and plenty of amenities. Locals were friendly and neighborhood was safe. Street market on Wednesday’s is only 10 minutes walking and had great food and all kinds of items for sale. Also great entertainment!! Beaches are clean and well kept. Will definitely be back!!

Cute beach cottage!

We had a lovely few days at the cottage. Property manager (Abe) was great - lots of useful info for check-in, property logistics, things to do in the area, easily reachable. Space was nice for us as a couple - would be tight for a family, unless you're mainly using it as a jumping off point to other activities in San Diego. Expected wear and tear for a beach house/ocean front location. Dedicated parking/garage was a huge asset. Kitchen could use a bit of updating. Bed was comfortable, as were couches and cozy living area. Be mindful that this location is directly along the airport flight path, so there is quite a bit of noise, including overnight.

Great Location and Fun Small Town Community

We had a fabulous time! The garage was perfect for our small suv and our bikes. Plenty of beach toys for our grand kids when they came to visit. Side yard with BBQ and outdoor seating was such a great bonus when we hosted our family for a picnic and day at the beach. We loved exploring Ocean Beach on our bikes and met so many wonderful people. Lots of great restaurants for happy hours and easy bike ride over to Mission Beach too. Would happily stay again!
