Annual family vacation

We chose this property for our annual family vacation, consisting of myself, my husband, and 3 year old son, my parents, and sister and her husband and 10 year old daughter. This was an amazing place to stay due to its size, allowing for everyone to have their own rooms/bathrooms, a spacious/cozy kitchen and living room, and a heated pool and jacuzzi that we used each night. This property was very clean, well maintained, and stocked with essentials like towels, soap, kitchen and bbq supplies, blankets, etc. The property management (a husband and wife) were very nice and accommodating to our requests. I would 100% recommend this property and would love to stay here again in the future!

Special house

Tom’s place had it all! The home is perfect for a family and even some extra friends. The backyard is perfect for lounging and cooking. Everyone was very happy. Highly recommend

Wonderful Family Gathering

What a great place for a family vacation! All of us (8 adults and our 1 1/2 year old granddaughter) loved the house. Plenty of room for everyone, it was stocked with all the supplies we needed, beautiful out door space and a great location. Tom was so nice, he was gracious enough to let us check in early and had the travel crib already set up. There was also a high chair provided. Tom greeted us when we arrived and was easy to reach with any questions. The house was a relaxing oasis to come back to after exploring the area. I highly recommend and would love to book again.

Relaxing and Comfortable

We had a fantastic time staying in Tom's house for a week. It was three families with kids ranging from 3-6 years old. The house was comfortable with lots of space to spend time together inside and out. The location was very convenient to all that we wanted to do in San Diego whether the zoo and Sea World or hanging out at Pacific Beach. Also, Tom was an excellent host. There was easy communication, great restaurant suggestions, and help if needed throughout the week.

Tom is the best host that you could ever ask for!

All I can say is this property is absolutely stunning inside and out. Tom was very friendly and gave us a lot suggestions for shopping and entertainment. Don’t hesitate to book this property!!!!!!!

Fantastic vacation

We stayed for 5 glorious days at this property. Tom allowed us to have an early check-in and was there to meet us when we arrived. He explained how everything worked and answered any questions we had. This house had everything imaginable that you could need. The pool and hot tub were amazing and we spent countless hours outside. I cannot recommend this property enough! 10/10

Perfect stay

The property was wonderful and we really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. It was very nice to have the great room opened up to outside. Truly a resort like experience. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen too, and we were able to host a lovely family dinner.

Good place, but needs a deep clean and some TLC.

Our stay began with our group being greeted by Tom upon our arrival where he then briefly walked us through the property, highlighting all of its amenities and gave us directions on how to use the spa/pool heat, etc. Once he left us to settle in we started to notice that things weren't very clean...like at all. From missing some very obvious and basic dusting and cobweb removal, to some more concerning items, like small piles of garbage and debris left under the vanity, or the soap scum and mildew covered shower curtain liner, to the broken bottle type of frozen contents remaining in the freezer, or dirt stained carpeting in the main bedroom, or that odd stain on the sofa and it's near twin on the headboard. For a $300 cleaning fee per stay I would have expected things to be quite a bit tidier and less college dorm room. Then there were the random things that were in disrepair, such as the inoperable fireplace, or the pull out sofa that was missing a handful of springs. Some TLC and putting oneself in the guests shoes would go a long way in getting this place back to being respectable and enjoyable for one's stay. Until then, vacationer beware.

Spectacular Private Pool!

This home was perfect for our Couples Retreat. We enjoyed hanging out around the fire pit in the evenings, pool time through the afternoons and cooked a couple of meals in the well stocked kitchen. We were close to good walking areas and dinner options. We would highly recommend.

Best vrbo I’ve ever stayed at!

Tom’s home was immaculate. I arrived with eight of my best friends for a girls trip. We all were very comfortable during the duration of our trip. Plenty of pots, pans, towels, etc. Tom had everything for us. We are grateful to have had a great trip. Thank you Tom!! I can’t wait to visit again!

Tropical Paradise

Our family loved everything about this property. The split bedrooms gave everyone their privacy and the kitchen is stocked with every item imaginable. The highlight for us was the spectacular yard with lush vegetation creating privacy and featuring a nice lawn. We used the fire pit, the rooftop deck to hang out, and the pool and spa everyday. The pool is heated perfectly at all times-87 degrees. We also ate every meal outside. Just a perfect place!

Fabulous house for a family

Tom , the owner, was there to greet us and show us around. It was beautiful and perfect for our family of 10 children and adults. Everyone loved the pool and hot tub. We all enjoyed the well laid out patio and outdoor kitchen. I don’t think we can ever find a more perfect family house for a vacation. Tom even shared some of the interesting history of the house

Great home and yard!

We had a very enjoyable stay at the property! The yard is great especially if you have a dog and to BBQ and enjoy the pool/yard area. It's about a 2 block walk to the beach park. The communication with Thomas was excellent. Very quick responses and very accommodating! It helps that he and family live next door if any issues which we did not have any. THANK YOU for a great stay!

Perfect Vacation!!

Everything we hoped for and more!

The house was fabulous for our vacation. The pool and hot tub were the perfect temperature to enjoy the outdoors even though it was in the 60’s. Tom was great welcoming us and showing us all around the property. Well-appointed with everything we needed to be comfortable. All in all a great stay!

Amazing Backyard!

This spot is amazing! We spent most of our time in the backyard - it was beautiful. We started and ended our days by the fireplace listening to music. The heated pool and hot tub were perfect. At night the yard pool/hot tub have lights. The bbq area was very clean. Great location and we will definitely be back!
