The view from the home is beautiful, and the space was clean and comfortably accommodated our group of eight. While the listing states it can sleep up to 25, it’s hard to imagine that being comfortable without crowding the bedrooms and common areas. Be aware there is an additional guest fee for groups over eight.The home is listed as “brand new,” a remodel took place in 2024. While some normal wear and tear is expected, it no longer feels appropriate to market it as new. There is visible wear in the stairway, including cracked tiles and a loose step on the floating staircase, which felt like a safety hazard.The “pool” is actually a very large spa, which was quite cloudy upon arrival. We were not able to use it until day two after maintenance addressed the issue. The beverage refrigerator began leaking the day after we arrived and, despite maintenance being sent, it was not fixed nor unusable for the remainder of our stay.Parking is limited, as there is no garage access and the driveway only accommodates one vehicle.Overall, the home is nice, but once host and VRBO fees are added, the total cost becomes quite high. My biggest concern was communication regarding a “markup” charge. I reached out a week and a half prior to arrival and was initially told it was a VRBO fee. After contacting VRBO, I was told it was a host fee. I provided the requested documentation, but after being told it would be reviewed, No follow-up was received which left the issue unresolved.
