Disappointing experience

Unfortunately, we faced a pest control problem, rats and ants (have the evidence-photos). And cleanliness was below expectations, reviews, comments and advertising photos. Scott was always available and trying to help..location and views are nice. However, pests and poor cleanliness clouded the experience…they really meed to invest on this if they want to keep on renting the property for this amount . Was my first experience through VRBO and not satisfied

We had 4 older couples at the property during our stay. We had plenty of space to hang out as a group and enjoy dining together in comfortable seating. We especially enjoyed the outdoor table and chairs under the pergola with the view of the city, bay, and ocean beautiful sun sets. The home was as advertised. Scott, the property manager, was very responsive both during the booking process and during our stay when we needed some assistance. The property is centrally located to access San Diego must see attractions. It is in a very nice residential neighborhood but not walkable to restaurants, stores or other amenities. We would definitely recommend this property and would be happy to stay there again.

Very nice property with great outdoor space with beautiful views out to the bay and ocean. Fabulous sunsets. Nice indoor space too with two large living rooms. Scott was available and responsive and made our stay memorable. I would highly recommend this houss for a family getaway.

We LOVED this house. It is open and spacious and perfectly located in San Diego. It has room for 8 people with 3 baths and for a family get together it is perfect. Very close to the 5; you can go north and get to La Jolla and spots farther north easily and quickly; and you can go south and get to Balboa Park in 10 minutes and the airport in 10 minutes and LIberty Station in 10 - 15 minutes. It is a fabulous location. PLUS - the view of Mission Bay and the ocean is spectacular. The backyard is wonderful for entertaining. We will use it again in March.

Pictures don’t do it justice, it was wonderfully spacious, quiet, had everything you needed and gorgeous views! Favorite was coffee early on deck overlooking the ocean and view. We only get together once a year and we loved the couches and big kitchen so we could really enjoy each other. The bedrooms were perfect, beds fine.We’d love to return someday, it really was just wonderful! Thank you for sharing such a lovely place.

Spacious, comfortable, homey and clean. Beautiful backyard and views. Only complaints are that it wasn't stocked with enough toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags and we couldn't figure out the hot tub. The host was helpful and quick to respond! Would stay at this location again!

The house is absolutely perfect for our girls trip. Its in a great location and the neighbor hood is nice and quiet. There were 8 of us and we had lots of space to be comfy and wind down from a day of adventuring. Will definitely return. Host was very responsive. Backyard view is amazing. We had breakfast in the backyard patio and could see the fireworks in the evening.

Had an amazing family vacation because of this house! Our 2 year old had a great place to sleep and play with the play house and even toys which was one of the main reasons we picked this property! The owner was very responsive to all messages and the house is in the perfect location with amazing views all day and night! This made for a great family vacation for everyone!

It was a beautiful and a comfortable home. When we first arrived there was a problem with the first floor air conditioning and the property manager had it fixed within 24 hours. There were also problems with the hot tub which proved to be more difficult to repair. The property manager had the repair company there 2X's but of the 9 days we were there we could only use it 3X's and it was still broken when we left.

Lovely home in lovely neighborhood, great view of bay through west-facing window-walls. Plenty of room for friends or families with children. Beds were very comfortable. Communication with owner was easy and he promptly responded. For renters, please tell people in your group: use only the deadbolt lock, and do not use the lock on the old doorknob - you will be locked out of the house until you can reach the owner by email or telephone.

Great location and backyard!

Overall we really liked our stay, and its proximity to everywhere we planned to go. We loved how much space we had, and really loved the backyard! We had 6 adults and two small children with us, there was plenty of space to never feel cramped but also still be together. The biggest issue we had was the beds, everyone in our group (minus the kids) had trouble sleeping on the very uncomfortable beds.

Amazing location

Great location with amazing views and central to just about everything. I would give it 5 stars however the place needs some upkeep such as the hand rail not being secure by the stairs, and rail on the gazebo, some lights being out, and probably in dire need of draining the hot tub as it had a funky smell. Communication was fast with the host however he did try and charge me for an early check in when the listing just says it’s available if no one stayed there the night before, after asking how much it was he said it was free so I don’t know if that was just a misunderstanding or not. Regardless of those things I would definitely stay there again!
