Dirty, Very Warm

The location is great. When we arrived, the floors were sticky and dirty. A cleaning service came to mop the floors. The place needs to be deep cleaned — dusty and dirty! The temperature outside was in the low to mid-70’s. This place locked in heat! It was uncomfortably very warm inside! There are ceiling fans, but the place is still VERY warm. We needed to leave the front door and kitchen windows open while we were home to get a cross breeze. The kitchen sink barely had any water pressure. It was eventually replaced 2 days into the trip.

Good property and loved location

We like the layout of the property. Very nice bathrooms bedrooms and living space. There could be improvements: The kitchen utensils/tableware incomplete like only 3 Teaspoons , no salad plates, no salt and pepper. Outside Lightbulb by front door needs to be replaced… very dark/dangerous at night time. Nightstand left lamp in Bedroom suite is broken, toilet/commode leaks. And … during this tropical heat wave weekend 9/7-11… the unit was unbearably hot with just “fans”! Not very comfortable at all. We loved the parking space! Great TVs

Great space and location but needs AC

We had a very enjoyable stay here. The property was just large enough for our family of 4. The kitchen and bathrooms were modern and well equipped and the property was quiet. The location is great - walking distance to Mission Bay Park. Our only complaints were that the living room could really use one more chair for additional seating and the property needs AC. We have stayed in non-air conditioned properties in San Diego before and they have been fine, but this property was consistently 80/81 degrees even when it was 67 outside/we kept doors/windows open and fans running. One bedroom had a small window unit which was very helpful. Another window unit in the other bedroom and one in the main living space would easily solve the problem. Overall a great experience!

Very nice place in the Mission Bay area if not too hot

This is a very nice property and we would consider it again but not in the height of summer due to the lack of central AC. We walked in to the place at 84F and even with running fans and opening the windows, we could not cool it down below the high 70's for our entire four day stay. The master suite was comfortable with a window AC unit in there but it made for rough sleeping in the second bedroom as it had absolutely no AC which was very disappointing. We ended up spending most of our time during the day at other places for the AC so we could keep everyone comfortable so very little time was spent at the unit due to it being so warm in there.

The apartment was very nice. Very comfortable, well decorated, nice bathrooms. Outdoor patio a little messy with bikes and surfboards. We would have liked keys for the deadbolt lock but could not find them. Overall, a very nice property and would be happy to stay there again.

Great Location with Complimentary Parking

My husband and I were in San Diego for 2½ weeks to escape the harsh winter weather of the Inland Northwest. We especially appreciated having complimentary driveway parking and being in close proximity to walking trails and grocery stores. The master bathroom’s rain shower showerhead also felt especially luxurious. We only wish that the management company had provided a larger set of plates, given that we were both working remotely and eating in a lot. Having essential kitchen items—such as a can opener, aluminum foil, and freezer bags—would have been helpful, too. Additionally, we found it odd that the VRBO had two huge closets (including a walk-in closet) but did not supply any hangers. (If we’d known ahead of time, we probably would’ve thrown a bunch of cheap wire hangers in our car before leaving home.)

Very good location, excellent palace clean and well equipped.

The property was very well located the parking on site was close , the home had plenty of towels and kitchen equipped adequately. The neighbor above very friendly. Definitely stay there again if in San Diego, close beach, shopping, and freeway.

Fall in Crown Point

The property is in a four unit condominium building a block from Mission Bay in Crown Point. The unit we rented was even nicer than it appeared to be in the photos. My wife, an adult son and I rented the unit for a long weekend. The unit had been very nicely modernized, particularly the two bathrooms and the kitchen. The unit was very comfortable and well laid out for a party of three adults. In future trips to San Diego, we will seek to stay in this unit if possible. We give this unit the highest possible rating.

Lovely atmosphere right next to the bay

The apartment was very nicely decorated. It was actually bigger than I expected. It was clean and had everything we needed. We had a great time visiting with family and it was a great location.

Great location, cute place.

Adorable place, lovely decor! Walking distance to Crown Point. Very quite and tranquil neighborhood. It’s one of a 4plex and the neighbors are quite and nice. However, the place wasn’t very clean. Floors were dusty, there was long black hair on the floor and towel, ewwww! The stove wasn’t clean, dried egg on it. I took Clorox wipes to all the counters including the table and all were dirty. (The table has grooves in it that has dirt and food particles in them, gross)! Open the windows to stay cool, but the window tracks are all filthy so it just blows dirt inside. So use the ceiling fans. We didn’t have electricity in one bathroom or the microwave for 2 days, the electricians were pleasant. I would have expected if the cleaning folks had been there recently they would have let management know. Also some sort of reimbursement for the trouble and only one bathroom and no microwave, but my requests to management for that went unanswered. You’re given numbers for emergencies only, but to use email and they don’t respond quickly. I sent an email the evening we checked in about the electricity and didn’t hear back by noon the next day, so I called and was told to be patient, they are just getting to emails. If that’s preferred method of communication they should be more responsive. Could be they are like so many companies these days and don’t have enough employees, but say that so expectations for responses are set. This is a cute place and great location! It would be worth the price if I didn’t have to clean it myself and was all in working order.

Great location, rent a car!

We truly Liked our stay here! Neighborhood was great, location was as perfect for all the day trips we took and the house was so clean! The only thing that impacted us negatively was the lack of kitchen supplies. We struggled to make a few meals because of the shortage of baking and cookware. The grocery was close enough to run to for supplies, but most places we’ve rented in the past have more “pantry and cooking staples”. Overall a wonderful property and will recommend the area for sure!

There wasn’t enough seating in the living. There needs to be a couple of comfortable chairs in addition to the small couch. The listing said their was a comfortable overstuffed chair, but it wasn’t. Other than that, the place was beautiful and the location was great.

Quiet in Good Location

A Jem in (the) Crown Point

A wonderful getaway. Interesting, attractive arrangement of rooms. Spacious and bright. Great beach digs without the constant craziness of the boardwalk. Fifty yards from a seat above Mission Bay. Going back.
