Great location, ocean views.

We loved the beach access and the view of the ocean. The unit is spacious and has good air conditioning. Fausto was very responsive as a host.

Phenomenal location

Great spot for whatever you want to do in the San Diego area. Close to everything….golf courses, zoo, beach, shopping, and etc. Could sit on the deck and see the ocean. Would stay there again if we come back to California.

Perfect beach getaway

We loved everything about this place! The communication was great. The check in and check out was very easy. We loved just being steps away from the beach! The rental was clean and spacious! We would definitely stay here again!!

Great Location

We had a great stay. The location was perfect as it was literally steps from the beach. Our family enjoyed being able to walk back and forth to the beach and not carrying too many things at once. The view from the kitchen window was great. There are some areas that need improvement but to be honest they're super small things that I am sure the owners already are aware of so I will not mention here. We would book again. Thanks for sharing your little piece of paradise with my family.

Family Vacation

Property exceeded our expectations, location is amazing, plenty of room for the 6 of us that stayed. Fausto was awesome, there was a mix up with our booking and he immediately reached out and worked with us on dates. Can’t wait to rebook our next trip here, and make more memories with the Fam!

First time on Mission Beach

The property was pretty much as described. The positives. Close easy access to beach. Good parking with the rental for one large vehicle. Rental was open and roomy Good comfortable bed and bedding. The disappointments The door lock was poor. Could not depend on it. Owner even stated that code was not working well, so use key o outer door. However, the door latch (not dead bolt lock for key) was not working properly. Hanging up and could not open door with working with to release. Very concerning moments in getting back into unit. Owner not very responsive other than written reply that it should not be an issue. Seems that good simple working locks should not be an issue for VRBO rental?? I have not had an issue before. Could not get the oven to work and ice maker is evidently intentionally turned off??? No ice, had to buy ice. No extras in kitchen, no condiments not even salt/pepper, foil wrap, dish soap ,etc. There were 2 rolls of paper towels. Only one wash cloth in each bathroom for 4 people??? No bedside lamps for night reading or extra lamps. Just ceiling lights Front step was broken on deck and nearly took twisted my foot or fell a couple times. This needs to be fixed!!! It could use a deep cleaning, windows looked horrible.

Needs outdoor funishings

The house was cute amd clean. There was no where to hang out on the porch because the table was old and uncomfortable. Didn't help to see what the neighbors set up was so good with couches, fire pit. the couch was very dirty. We covered it with sheets before we sat down. The beds were comfy.

Great location

We loved this property! The location was the best location we’ve stayed at- seriously just a park and stay! Walking distance to the beach, the bay, restaurants, you name it- you were there! The parking spot was the icing on the cake. We will be back!! The place could use a deep cleaning, but the location was so great we barely noticed.

Long week-end with family

the location is awesome! The house is a little worn. Several light bulbs were burned out, closet, vanity, bathroom. For the fee charged for cleaning....it could've been much better! It would've been nice to have more cookware and plastic cups. And there were no coffee filters! We had to make another trip back to the store for them. Overall we enjoyed the stay.

Family stay

This place was a great hub for us as we visited lots of places in the area. It was so close to the beach which was awesome when you had an hour to kill. Our 4 year old loved the beach and being able to walk there in less than a minute. We didn’t spend much time in the house but it worked great as a place to stay!

We enjoy staying in the area so ultimately that’s why we stayed here. Had everything we needed to hit the beach and cook meals there. House does need a tune up here and there. Easily overlooked due to the location and access to the beach.

Good location…not newly remodeled as depicted in listing

We enjoyed our stay, good location, beach very close! Overall, decent stay! But beware, it is not newly remodeled like listed….if it is, it was poor a poor job. 2 examples….Front door does not lock, which apparently has been that way for some time from what I found out from the guest book. The deck is peeling pretty badly and easy for little children to get splinters. The kitchen is not fully stocked with utensils, enough to get by. You will need to bring everything with you as far as food….there is absolutely no spices, not even salt and pepper. Which at the very least could be supplied! Anyway, decent overall, but definitely room for some upgrades!

Location! Location! Location!

First of all what a great location!! The beach is literally steps away! Restaurants, coffee shops and listening to the waves hit the shore is only a few reasons we will make this our go to family beach house! Fausto was an amazing host!! We had a few things that needed to be attended to and he was there for us. We can’t thank him enough for making us feel welcomed and being there for our family. We can’t wait until next time!!

Run Down

This was our first time renting a VRBO. Unfortunately we were disappointed with the cleanliness and condition of the house. The front door lock was broken and only the screen door locked. The power in a bedroom and bathroom intermittently went on and off. The Property Manager was very prompt coming to fix it the first time but it just kept happening throughout our stay. The furniture was all very worn out, uncomfortable and not very clean. This included the main bathroom and bedrooms. The main bathroom shower grout was black in several spots and the toilet seat was beat up. The linens needed to be replaced also and did not appear very clean on the beds. There was suppose to be a tv in both bedrooms but one was in the closet and the other was in the bedroom that didn’t have power consistently. Paint was peeling inside also. The deck and outdoor furniture was also very run down. We did not feel that the pictures accurately portrayed the property. The were obviously taken a long time ago and this home has become run down. It was in a great location and could be a nice place to stay if things were fixed and replaced. We are also still waiting for the VRBO Company to return our deposit that the Property Manager said we got back in full. It will have been 2 weeks since we checked out tomorrow.

GREAT BEACH OASIS

We loved staying in this great beach oasis. The property has Pacific Ocean views and sounds without the heavy boardwalk traffic. We were steps from great boogie boarding, gorgeous sunrises, and miles of beach and bay boardwalk walking/running/roller blading. Volleyball nets are near by. Great food/fun Guava Beach Grill and Olive Cafe, The Mission Cafe. Close to Belmont Park and Crystal Pier. The owner was great with communication. The parking worked great for our Toyota Highlander. We would love to stay here again.
