Fun! Fun! Fun! Great location

We absolutely love our stay. This property was amazing and big enough to host our family for my nephew 30th birthday. We had 10 adults and 4 kids. We had enough space to mingle without feeling crowded. There was enough sleeping spaces and the beds were comfortable. House was beautiful decorated. Very close to the boardwalk and beach. It was exactly four house away from boardwalk and beach. And it was less than 10 mins walk to Belmont park and roller coaster which the kids enjoyed the walk there. Clark was an amazing host, he came to meet us and welcome us on the first day. Super easy check in and checkout process. He kept everything simple and we love his house rule which is the only rule…HAVE FUN! We definitely will be renting this property again and will be recommending property to our friends.

UK family!

My family came from the United Kingdom to spend a week in San Diego before heading up north for my son‘s wedding. We rented both the upstairs and the downstairs apartment to accommodate all the people it was perfect. Many times with these rentals they say they can accommodate more people than they really can but the description of this home accurately describes the number of beds and bathrooms available. The owner had provided everything we needed. We bought lots of things that we didn’t need we bought extra paper and towel toilet paper. We didn’t need it. They had everything available for us and sufficient to accommodate the five days that we were at the house, They were accommodating with our flight arrivals and departures, allowing us a little extra time to check out so that the family did not have to wait around at the airport for their flight. There’s a lot of stairs and you need to be mindful of that, but they were equipped with rails. I have a handicapped brother who was able to navigate them or be it slowly. The bathrooms were all nicely tiled, and the water was hot on demand. There was laundry facilities in both unit units Which made it easy to stay on top of beach towels. It was safe for the children, allowing them to be outside in a fenced in area and it was a very short walk along the an alleyway to the beach. I would definitely stay there again.

Most Hospitable Owner I’ve Ever Rented From

Perhaps the best experience I’ve ever had renting a house!First of all, the house is exactly as it looks in the pictures. Spacious, 3 floors with plenty of room for all of my 11 guests. The area is also filled with plenty of places to eat/drink, and a short 1 block away from the mission bay boardwalk and beach, where you can play beach volleyball. Simply on property and property location alone, a phenomenal place to stay.I also want to give a particular shout out the the VRBO owner. He was there to greet us and ensure we had recommendations for dinner and that the house was ready for our stay (which it was). Maybe the nicest owner or a rental I’ve ever met.5 stars, 10/10, 100%, whatever rating system you want to use, this is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed and I will look to return the next time I come back to San Diego.

Fantastic House in Incredible Location

We had a group of 6 stay very comfortably at this house for 5 days. Everybody had their own very nice room with plenty of shared space as well. The balconies are fantastic with great exposure to sun and coverage if needed as well. It’s about 70 feet to the beach and on a great stretch with public volleyball courts/nets which we used extensively. Clark was super nice and very available for communication and assistance, and he personally came by and offered us great recs for the area. Would 100% rent it again. Thanks Clark!

Deceptive-Unsanitary-Unsafe

Please note: Video/photos are available to substantiate the following: Filthy floors and rugs throughout; mold/mildew in showers, window blinds layered with dust mites and dirt; broken washer/dryer; air vent system clogged with visible dust/dirt; broken fire smoke alarms in bedrooms; TV's not working in several bedrooms; Wi-fi service weak-no cell phone communication. Vrbo ad indicated ocean view (False); furniture dated with surface peeling, bathroom cabinets had paint peeling throughout; overall property needs immediate upgrading considering the rental price. Host was extremely personable until after booking the stay. After receiving payment, he then refused to take any accountability for the deceitful promoor unsafe conditions. Fraud charges will be filed with the State attorney's office and San Diego Building and Land Use Enforcement. Guests had to rent additional Air B&B to accommodate showers and avoid fungus/infections. I was unaware of the foregoing, as I did not arrive until the final day of the guests vacation. I paid for the group as a gift; and was totally embarrassed. In an attempt to resolve the issue, the host became combative and confrontational. I will further pursue this matter legally. .

5 Star Mission Beach House

We give this mission beach house a 5 star rating. The location is steps from the beach. It is very spacious and had plenty of room for our large family. The outdoor patios were great to eat and hang out. The owner went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. He even arranged for a fire pit and s’mores to be set up for us on the beach one evening. We will definitely be staying here again. Highly recommend!

Family Friendly

This is a perfect house at the beach for a multi generational family vacation. The furnishings are comfortable and we could hang out together or retreat for privacy as much as we wanted. A generous supply of beach chairs and toys was a bonus!

Absolutely amazing stay. Highly recommended for anyone going in the area. Walking distance to the beach. Hosts were amazing and went above and beyond to support any questions or needs required.
