We had a fabulous stay at this property for a multi-generational Christmas! It looks just like the photos, and having the ocean right outside was just wonderful. There was enough space for us all to be together when we wanted (7 total people, 2 grandparents, 2 parents, 1 kid age 12, and aunt and uncle) and also to be separate when we wanted. I can’t say enough good things about our hosts; they were so friendly and very responsive - we noticed a crack in the coffee pot and were worried we would make it worse by using it, so they brought us a new one the same day we told them about it. (Christmas morning is much better with coffee.) If you stay here, do pay attention to the size of the parking spaces - they provide the dimensions in the listing, but the spaces are quite small. We could get my parents’ sedan into the larger of the 2 spaces, but the large SUV we rented was not at all going to fit. It worked out ok though because we were always able to get street parking within 2 or 3 blocks from the property, which was just fine for us. All in all, we loved it and would happily come back!

Beautiful home, wonderful separation of space for multigenerational families. We found the property to be in good shape, with a few minor issues. Fridge door plastic shellf was broken (was noted in a previous review by tenant). We had a bottle of coffee creamer in the door, and when we opened door, shelf fell on floor and creamer spilled all over floor.There was also a broken handle in the whirlpool bath in bathroom.We called mgmt in the 1st day as we had poor internet, only 2 beach chairs for large home, and very dirty garbage cans near front entrance that attracted swarms of flies and bees. We had many flies in the house when we arrived. Flies on our food during any meal. Mgmt promptly brought brand new beach chairs, someone to fix internet, and fly traps.We continued to have flies during our stay, tho we consistently kept doors shut. Ants in kitchen also, was ongoing as ant traps were out upon arrival. As unfortunate as the ants were, I know from experience they are very difficult to get rid of.Loved the place and we had a wonderful time, unsure if I’d rent again due to unfortunate placement of trash near front door, and flies everywhere. Would hope for better conditions for the cost to rent here

Annual Beach Escape

Our family enjoyed our annual escape to Mission Beach. The house was the perfect location for our extended family to enjoy food fun, and all the adventures San Diego has to offer. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for the 8 of us to spread out. The decks and common areas were big enough for us to enjoy meals and a little down time.Other than a few maintenance issues our stay was perfect. We will definitely keep this location in our travel planner for next year.

Great location/Tired Property/Needs Attention

The oven temp is low/lower drawer is broken open/very old stove/Only 1 VERY old & dirty oven mit. Fridge crispers are broken/frozen milk/very old. No cleaning supplies to wipe down countertops & tables. BBQ-Extreme rust/dirt/1 burner does not work/ no brush to clean/lighter does not work. 3rd floor master bath left faucet has no flow/2nd bathroom toilet paper holder is broken. Clock in main room not operating. Main outside deck needs resurfacing. This place needs some major maintenance. Would not stay here again.

Spring break with teens

We had a wonderful time! The location can’t be beat and being right on the beach was terrific. The house had plenty of space for our group of 4 adults and 6 teenage boys. The house was well stocked but the kitchen dishes and cabinets were a bit dirty. Also, when we had an issue with the fan remote, we never heard back from the property manager. That said, we would highly recommend this place!

Great location and accommodation for large group

Fantastic location right on the beach in Mission Beach. 2 parking spots (spots are tight so no large SUV’s). Rooms were nice and as advertised. We loved all the different sitting areas such as the second floor balcony, third floor open kitchen area and rooftop sun lounger area.

Over priced

The description makes this place seem like it is worth every dollar you are going to spend. It is a heavily used house. Things are falling apart and fresh paint is covering up a lot of underlying issues i am sure. It is in a great location though. Be aware that you may have other tenants renting the second half of the house below you though.

Perfect location! Perfect vacation home!

We had a group of 9 adults meet for my husbands 50th. This was perfect as everyone had their own bedroom. The house was clean and just as advertised. Opening up the windows filled the home with cool and fresh ocean air. It was wonderful scenery being right on the beach. The ocean walk led you to plenty of restaurants and entertainment in either direction. Plus a grocery store is only a mile away. I don’t know why this is important but I love the strong water pressure from all bathrooms. It’s always a bonus! We would definitely book this home again for San Diego.

Great location and views!

This location is central to everything in San Diego and a short ride to La Jolla. Being able to see the ocean waves while sitting in the family room was wonderful, especially since we had a day of rain. Management company was very responsive to our questions. Property is exactly as the description is listed. We were large family ranging in age from 16-80 and loved that we had space for everyone and a great view of the ocean!

Big front room space that fit our large group was nice. The kitchen is a little janky. Old appliances and microwave not working. Property management was quick to respond to fix microwave and Wi-Fi. Not sure we would stay there again.

New Years Eve Getaway

As soon as we walked in we were impressed by the floor to ceiling windows and the spectacular view in front of us. We had children with ages ranging from 6-15 with us. The property is in a central location on the Mission Beach boardwalk with many restaurants and shopping within a 5-15 minutes stroll. The kids loved how close we were to Belmont and would rush to play on the beach in the mornings. We were in San Diego during an unusual storm. Being in such a central location made it easy to enjoy the outdoors even though the weather was a deterrent. We are looking forward to booking our next trip!

Amazing views, relaxing stay

This was an awesome place. My son graduated from one of the local universities and we had family and friends coming from as far as New York. The views were amazing. Rooms clean. Kitchen well stocked. My 87 year old mother enjoyed her stay so much that she did not take any arthritis pain medication! The roof was perfect for our BBQ get together. Again, amazing views. Lots of photos taken. The parking was tight, but I was able to put my SUV in the spot. Just can’t say enough good stuff about our stay. I would definitely stay here again.
