"This house has it all: an incredible view of the Pacific, privacy, beautiful and comfortable furnishings, and amenities. The outdoor space is breathtaking. The first day we stayed, we saw a monkey in the trees and toucans on the branches. We also spotted a hungry iguana and a mama deer and her baby. "Our stay was terrific - waking up to the sounds of the howler monkeys followed by layers of bird songs was amazing! We loved our compact apartment that provided everything we needed. Having access to buses, taxis, beach routes was great. So much diversity all in one place. The Manual park tours is a must along with Finca Rocio coffee and spice tour. Both made our stay that much more culturally enriching!"

"I just checked out this morning and I can wait to go back. Outstanding property- we saw tons of birds, mammals, butterflies and reptiles from the two incredible decks. Our kids got up early every day to go watch birds and monkeys. Andres was an amazing concierge, answering questions and making reservations for activities and dinner. One of the most beautiful properties I’ve ever stayed in, and the kindest host, made this one of the most exceptional vacations. "

"If you want privacy and peace, this is the place. It truly is only steps from the beautiful beach. "We really enjoyed our stay at Alta Vista. Our villa was well-equipped and spotlessly clean, the beds were comfortable, and there were separate bathrooms (with showers) for each bedroom, which was really convenient. The highlight was the gorgeous sunsets over the Pacific that we watched each evening from our private plunge pool. We grew fond of the brightly colored pair of scarlet macaws living nearby (and frequently flying over us). What could be more "pura vida" than that?"
