"Hey everyone, we had a fantastic time in Salvo. I’m not here to compare real estate, but the house, although a bit dated and in need of a few minor fixes, was overall fantastic. The kitchen was well-equipped, the rooms were clean, and the hot tub was great. It was conveniently located between a couple of beach access points, making it an excellent value for the price. No complaints at all. I highly recommend checking this place out.Additionally, I spoke with the caretaker about the older reviews...

"We stayed for a week mid-May, family of 5. Property was as described and pictured. Classic beach/lake house vibe. Plenty of kitchen utensils and appliances. New towels. Great pool with plenty of loungers. There is a very short walk over thru the dunes to the beach, right behind the house, the beach is very quiet and clean, lots of wildlife, crabs, birds....We visited some other beaches further north and this one was much cleaner and much less crowded. Maybe one group of people every 300-400...

"Amazing sunsets and sound views from the back deck! The convince of the elevator for loading and unloading was a bonus since there are 3 floors. The house is beautiful and each room had its own bathroom which was great for our family which had 5 couples. The Beach access is a bit of a hike in the heat and not for individuals who can’t climb over sand dunes but there were plenty of beaches to drive to that had easier access. "None of us old people used the pool or actually got into the sea, but we walked the beach daily. The ocean view was spectacular and many of us got up each morning to view sunrise. The kitchen layout worked well for us, with a good selection of pots & pans, and plenty of dishes and silverware (only ten of us attended) and nice that we all fit at the table together. Mostly we all hung out together on the third floor, worked jigsaw puzzles when not on the beach or gone fishing."
