Great location with easy walk to Salt Lake City's premier park: Liberty Park. Just walk 2 minutes to a great brunch place, too. Property is the attic of an older home, which is typical for this area. Nice-sized private deck with partial mountain views. Private side entrance and stairs, too.Visited in the heat of summer. You have to run the window AC and standalone unit all day long in the summer. I shut it off to conserve energy one day, and it got up to 94 degrees! One of the ACs stopped working and needed to be drained, but the owner fixed it very quickly.Bathroom shower is ok, not great. Smaller and the placement of the showerhead was a bit annoying.Very comfortable bed. Other seating in the unit was decent. Nice, small functional kitchen that was just fine for snacks and basic meals.Stayed 2 weeks, and I missed the sun. Not too much natural light. But probably not something you'll notice for a short getaway, especially if you are out during the day.It is a smaller attic, which I'd say is the main downside. Hit my head once (not bad at all) on the sloped ceiling. Darker. Hot mid-summer without AC management. All those things are very manageable with no major red flags. Great, walkable location and good value! Recommend for shorter stays on a budget, especially in other seasons.
