What a perfect place to go when all you need is rest and relaxation. Meri was the perfect host and her place was perfect for our family. Short walk to the pool or the beach. The beach was quiet every day!

Great family trip

We enjoyed our stay. The kids loved the pools and we spent most of our time at the state park for bigger waves. The condo was surprisingly quiet with so many folks around us. We appreciated the beach and pool tools available for use.

We enjoyed our stay. Especially pleased that there were binoculars and a red flashlight for us to use. We forgot our binoculars and didn’t recognize that the red light is required to not discombobulate the nesting turtles on the beach at night. Good cold air conditioning while it was SUPER hot while we were there. I would happily rent it again,We would have stayed a couple of extra days but it was booked-up. We didn’t want to leave.DO NOT fail to visit Hunting Island state park (pass included) while you’re there. Thanks Merri!

Perfect for the family that wants quick access to beach and pool! Awesome

The property was clean. The provided items were more than adequate for our family. He location was awesome. Very quick access to the pool and beach. This community was quiet. we usually did Hilton Head .. but will certainly be back for the layed back quiet environment. The turtle program and snakes and alligator programs were a hit with the kids and adults!! The hunting island pass was a huge plus for us! Not enough positives can be said. The tenants before us let in a ton of small flies. Spent a couple days getting rid of them all ... But that is not a knock on the property! We LOVED this place. Thanks for making our vacation awesome!

We had a wonderful stay at this condo with our family of 4! It was clean, had everything we needed (and more) and the property was beautiful. Merri was very responsive and helpful with the questions I had prior to arriving. We will definitely stay here again!

Perfect family beach trip

The building is def a bit old, but the condo itself is well kept and cozy. Merri replied quickly every time I had a question, no matter how dumb lol. And there were a decent but if wasps and bees always buzzing around the stairs which made it hard for the kids to go up and down. And the bugs were awful on the beach and outside in general. I wish I would have brought bug spray. We all got eaten up. Other than that, everything was pretty great. The beach was quiet and not too crowded. The water was calm even after storming every night. The sand was soft and the beach was only a short walk across the boardwalk. The pools are kept nice. I loved the material (soft rubber material) around the whole pool. The Turtle's Nest store was quaint and the person working was lovely. This was exactly what our young family needed for an end if summed beach trip. Family of 6 (ages 2, 5, 7, and 15).

Great Place to Stay!

My wife and two children recently stayed here and had a wonderful time. The property is clean, well maintained and right on the beach with plenty of activities to keep the kids busy! Three pools, fishing, tennis, pickleball all right there with a very relaxed beach that has a great low tide high tide experience as well. Beaufort is close enough for dinners with the family, overall just a great trip to take with the family. The host stayed in touch and everything was as easy as could be. Thanks for a great trip.

Excellent location and great views

We loved our stay at this condo. The views out the window are amazing - 180 degree view of the beach. It is perfectly located at the resort with easy and quick access to the beach, pools and resort amenities. The condo was perfect for our family of 4 (two kids under 5). Harbor Island is also quiet and beautiful.Everything inside is well cared for and comfortable. Lots of extras like pool towels, beach chairs, games, etc. Merri is a gracious, accommodating and communicative host.

Good for a quiet getaway

The condo itself is nice. The real appeal of this property is the Host. Merri is a very involved and attentive host and is one of the best we have ever dealt with. The distance to the beach is exactly as described- I highly recommend this property.

Wonderful beach home!

The owners have thought of everything needed for a wonderful vacation - beach equipment, sports equipment, games, and all the household necessities! The home was clean and comfortable. The property was very nice, and the ocean view was perfect.

perfect location & cozy apartment!

We've loved our stay in this cozy condo. Great ocean & sea grass/dune views from the kitchen as I meal-prepped for my kids. In fact, most rooms and areas had the same incredible view. My toddler loved looking down onto the pool from the patio. Easy board walk to the beach to discover lots of crabs, ocean birds and to play in the water. The extra towels, beach wagon and toys were a bonus, having two little kids. Convenient walk to rec center, too. We'll be back!

Quick get away

I had a lovely stay at Merri’s place. The unit is comfy with all your needs. The location was great! Close to the beach access and pool. The beds were comfy and the location of the unit is quiet.

Convenient location & Beautiful beach

This was our first trip to Harbor Island, and we really enjoyed it! The condo was very convenient, overlooking the pool and just a short walk to the Beach and the Clubhouse area. We went to Hunting Island State Park for a half day. It was nice to have the pass to get in with no charge! We ate twice at the nearby Johnson's Creek Tavern, and all of our food was delicious both times. It was also really good to have chairs, game equipment, and tubes available at the condo.

6 night family vacation

Our family of 4 took our first beach vacation together and chose this location. What a fantastic time we had! It was exactly what we were looking for…laid back, low key, peaceful, not crowded, and relaxing. The photos in the listing don’t do justice to how nice the condo and area are. Communication with the property manager leading up to and during our stay was excellent. Condo was clean and plenty big for us. The view was better than I had anticipated. Spent 2 days at Hunting Island Beach thanks to the parking pass they provide. Having multiple swimming pool options was nice. We enjoyed lunch a couple times at the Turtles Nest. It was an overall great experience, and we plan to come back next year!

Family vacation

Perfect for our family

The condo was clean and stocked with everything you need! It was so nice that they provided beach chairs and toys. It was an easy walk to the beach and the beach wasn't crowded. It was nice having the pool close to our condo. The condo was great and the owner was easy to work with.

Me and my family had a wonderful stay at this property. We spent 5 nights and 6 days in July. The property met all needs/expectations. Ocean view was lovely. The location as a whole was amazing. Very clean island, it was quiet and very low key

Peaceful Getaway

This condo has everything you need for a vacation. The kitchen is well appointed, it's the first VRBO we've used that had a crockpot. There were plenty of beach chairs and toys. If space is tight, leave all of that at home. The beach is beautiful and not crowded at all. Our only "complaint" is how shallow the water is. Our kids love to play and swim in the ocean. If you're looking for a beautiful beach, a well appointed condo, and fewer people....this is the condo and beach for you.
