This Vrbo was the highlight of our Sacramento visit. Location provided easy access to all areas of downtown Sacramento. The space was clean and had everything we needed. The host was accessible, quickly answering questions and provided great recommendations for restaurants, etc. Thank you for a great stay.

others have written about the proximity to a boarded up house and cleanliness issues. the thing that really struck me when I came in the front door was the smell: really strong perfumed cleaning products or air fresheners? It was clean enough but anything outside of your usual field of view was really dusty and poorly maintained. Also the plumbing is so loud: when someone flushes the toilet upstairs it sounds like a waterfall is about to come crashing on your head. it was fine to stay in for one night and leave immediately but definitely not a relaxing or enjoyable place to be.

Nice apartment in a great location

We attended an event at the Golden 1 Center and wanted to stay close to the venue. The communication with Sway was exceptional. Responses were prompt and detailed - we always had the information we needed to make our trip a success and stress free. The apartment was a short/pleasant walk (5-10 minutes) to downtown shops, bars, and restaurants. The Golden 1 Center was 15 minutes (in the same downtown area). The apartment was as described with a nice welcome basket and everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We enjoyed our stay in Sacramento and will rent from Sway again in the future.

Graduation trip!!

I loved the location of this home. It was close to the auditorium where my graduation was held. Very walkable location. The home was so cute and spacious. It was perfect for the 4 of us that traveled together. My wife was impressed by the connectable to so many tv apps. The host was very responsive, helpful, and gave me some wonderful suggestions of places to try. Parking permit was included which was a nice touch even though the parking was a bit tight, yet cars were always coming and going so there was always a spot in front of the home. The home was fully stocked with many accommodations. We had a wonderful trip. This was my first time ever using Vrbo or any private host site. I was surprised with the ease of the whole process. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Really great!

The property was very clean and well taken care of! Everything we needed was there. I especially like the filtered water ready for us in the fridge and the coffee station. The host was incredibly responsive to my messages. And the beds! The beds were sooooooooo comfortable. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Comfortable in a transitional neighborhood

Stayed here with my mom and sister for a family reunion in Roseville. Pros: location in Old Sac is good, close to restaurants and bars and easy to get to highway. Apartment looked as expected from pictures. Was clean and comfortable. Cons: the house is next to a burned out abandoned home that felt sketchy. The first night we came home and some homeless folks were trying to get into the property which concerned us. The locks on our apartment and main door were different than the typical keypad locks we are used to and we had to double check from the outside that they were in fact secure. I would recommend adding inside deadbolts for security on the individual units. There is also very little insulation so it was very loud when people were coming down the stairs or in the upstairs units. Finally, little touches help like multiple towel hooks, nicer hangers in closets (these were well worn wire hangers) and storage for clothing.

Close to downtown

Communication with manager was good. Location to downtown is great. Somewhat sketchy Neiguborhood. Place was tidy, but could have used a final wipe down if counters and appliances (lots of fingerprints). Manager offered to have someone come back and re clean. I just gave it a once over myself. Very minimal appliances and kitchen ammenities.was planning to cook, ended up eating out. Beds were comfortable. Walls are very thin, multiple tenants can be heard moving and speaking in adjacent units. No cable, but as advertised ( I missed it in the add) No drip coffee machine (again I missed it in the add). Was a POD coffee maker in lieu. Only two towels for the four night stay. Would have been nice to have a third or fourth towel. No laundry (again as advertised) shower door was very dirty at the bottom, black in behind the plastic. Should come apart and be cleaned or replaced.. overall stay was adequate. Suitable for short stay of a couple days. For the money I will stay in the Hyatt next trip. Again, good communication with manager/owner.

Great Stay!!

What a wonderful trip. I am so glad that we picked this place for my Ironman. It was clean, cozy and close to downtown. The hosts were so easy to work/talk with. They responded within minutes if I had a question. If I come back to Sacramento, to race again, I would definitely book this place!

Great place!

Myself and 3 friends booked this for one night- went to a concert at Golden One. It’s a very clean, well appointed apartment. SOOO QUIET! Beds bathroom kitchen all EXCELLENT. Neighborhood was nice, felt very safe. No outside area to hang out to speak of, although we did DoorDash and eat on front porch which was nice. I will definately book again!

Wonderful Stay

This was such a cute place. We really enjoyed our stay. It was exactly as described. Easy access as well which was awesome. Very convenient to everything. We loved walking to the coffee shop down the street every morning. We stayed here for the GoldenSky festival and was very easy to get to back and forth. We would definitely stay here again!

Fun weekend in Sacramento

My friends and I spent a weekend in Sacramento and stayed at this rental unit. It meet our needs in every way. It was clean and comfortable. The welcome basket left for us upon arrival was such a nice touch. The owner Shelby checked in each day via email to make sure we had everything we needed and replied promptly when I asked for recommendation for takeout. If in Sacramento again, I would not hesitate staying here again

Comfortable, calm, wonderfully situated

What a gem! My family and I loved our stay here; the apartment is wonderfully appointed, and decorated beautifully throughout. We had everything we needed, with soft, comfortable bedding, an absolutely gorgeous kitchen (seriously, I want to take this kitchen home with me!), great bathrooms, and a comfortable living room with enough seating for all of us. It’s situated within walking distance or a quick drive of everything we needed. The host is a great communicator, and I can’t think of anything I’d want to change. Thank you for making us feel at home!

Exactly as Expected

Convenient downtown location. Unit was exactly as shown- clean and updated. Sway was very responsive. The only inconvenience was the guests upstairs went up and down the stairs all night and hung out on the front porch until the early hours.
