"We stayed here because the description says 1 minute walk from Peryvar Reserve, it is not. 15 to 20 mins out of Kumily up a very bumpy track. No atmosphere at all. No yoga offered. Evening meal not good, I complained but ignored. Chef shouting in the kitchen. Pool green. Restaurant service not good at all. The best feature is the great taxi driver who works for the hotel. Although it was a VERY expensive service. Check the details before you book. "

"Friendly helpful people.Beautiful well kept grounds, simple but tasty food"

"The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming, and they also helped organize additional activities, which was appreciated. However, the breakfast spread was quite limited and could be improved. We also noticed that the bedsheets were not properly clean during check-in, which affected the first impression of the stay."

"Our stay at Hills & Hues, Thekkady was an awesome experience. Nestled amidst the lush greenery of the Western Ghats, the property offers breathtaking views that can be enjoyed right from the rooms. Waking up to mist-covered hills and panoramic landscapes each morning was both relaxing and rejuvenating. The staff deserve special recognition for their warm hospitality, friendliness, and attentiveness. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel welcome and went out of their way to ensure our...

"This is a newly built camping style place. The rooms are nice for the outdoor location. Working ceiling fans, sliding glass doors. I spent some time with one of the owners who has great English and is a great guy. It’s really a great location to make as a home camp to take safari jeeps from, which the site can easily order for you. They also can arrange walking trips through the wild park with a park ranger. Great group of people running this place!!"

"The front desk staff was good, the breakfast was excellent and tasty. Two issued I had was there was another group that was playing loud music near us and it was bothering us as we were trying to put the kids to sleep. We also had a issues where the staff was suppose to deliver a case of water we brought and they delivered it to the wrong room. They replaced it with a case but just two small issues. Overall good experience and would stay again if going through the area. "

"Great ambience. Beautiful view. Cordial staff. 30 minutes from Vagamon town. Nice restaurant and food. Room is spacious with a large balcony. As the location is mostly cold and moist the room walls need periodic painting to avoid molding."

"Nice property near Thekkady. Clean and friendly staff."

"We stayed in double bed room for family. The stay was for 2 days. The was good with good bed, A/C. The breakfast is typical Kerala breakfast menu which was good. All in all very good experience."
