"This apartment is very small. The bed is against the wall and the person sleeping next to the window has to clamber over the other person to get out. The kitchen has a hob only, not an oven. The wet room is good. All in all, basic but adequate and clean"

"My family stayed 1 night at Alnes Gard during our trip to Norway. We stayed here as a base to see Alesund and so glad we did! This place is a lovely little gem and we had fun exploring the small island. We saw lovely rainbows, experienced a beautiful ocean sunset, and went on a great hike! Would highly recommend this place! "Nicer than the pictures—we only got to stay one night, but we would return when we travel through Bergen again. A plus that it had an elevator instead of having to get our luggage up the stairs. We cooked in the kitchen and found that we had what we needed to get the meals together. We also were able to do a load of laundry, a plus. They view was wonderful, and the owner has plants on the balcony which made it feel cozy. For us, having some space to spread out versus just a hotel room is a huge...

"This apartment is in an excellent location and had everything we needed. Pros: *Well stocked kitchen. We were able to make a few meals at the apartment and it had everything, minus ingredients, that we needed. *Great location. *Comfortable *8-10 walk to the bus station *Close to restaurants. *Grocery store right around the corner. *10-15 minute walk to Bryggen Cons: *No black out shades so bring eye masks. *Not very sound proof. Friday and Saturday people were partying and it was loud....
