"Overall very good value & very clean.Opening & closing gate on railway line gets a little tedious but even though cottage is adjacent to the line, the noise is very minimal inside the cottage.Would suggest an outside light at the door as steps lead up and down steps, it is very dark."

"It had a nice lounge area. The main bedroom is a little on the small size with not much room to get round the double bed and the bedding smelt musty. One bathroom for 3 bedrooms? Overall ok but probably would not stay again."

"We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. One thing I would suggest is getting new mattress. It is quite worn and lumpy. Apart from that it's a great place. "

"Only thing wrong was we didn’t stay long enough. We loved this little cottage. It’s a beautiful little home away from home. Whitby was fantastic as well. Wish we’d known ahead of time how much we would love it so we could have booked a longer stay."
