  • Enjoy your lake front view of Mayo Lake. Rental is for lower unit with full access to lake, kayaks, paddle boat and private dock. Everything is new and updated. I live above and would be available for any of your needs. Has granite counter top, stone shower, tile and wood floors. Kitchen has everything you need. The water behind the home is deep and perfect for bring a boat and parking right out back.

Host was very friendly and welcoming. We had everything we needed for our trip. Very quiet and peaceful during our stay. Beautiful view and not far from the quaint little town of Roxboro. It was like stepping back in time. Would highly recommend staying here.

Such a quiet, relaxing setting. Beautiful sunrises across Mayo Lake. The host is very friendly, helpful and easy to communicate with. Hopefully this VRBO will be available the next time I’m in Roxboro for work. It was clean and had everything I needed.

This place is wonderful, the tranquility and connection with nature, we needed to recharge our energy and it was our best choice, plus everything was super clean, the bed was very comfortable. Corey the owner is a super kind and attentive person.1000%

Quick weekend get away

Well maintained property, beautiful lake view. Quick access to town and dining. Brought our paddle boards and walked them down to the lake, which was really nice since the lake did not have many boaters.

Great little spot on the lake

Had a small group of friends just getting away for the night. Great little spot, with water view. It is steep walk down to the water but very nice location. Thanks for letting us stay.

Perfect getaway

Me and my boyfriend came here for our first vacation together. It was everything we were looking for and more. It’s secluded, quiet and charming. If you’re looking for a nice, clean, relaxing stay with a beautiful view, then you need to book here.

Quiet Lakefront retreat

Property was exactly as described in listing. Close to a public access ramp to unload our boat for fishing. Also the property was close to the town of Roxboro - with some wonderful small shops. Close proximity to small towns in VA. The host, Cory, was very helpful on the first night when we had a question. Location was very quiet and enjoyable. Would stay again if in the area.

Excellent Experience

The Host did an excellent job communicating with me making for an effortless check in process. The view of the lake was amazing and relaxing after a long day. The space was very clean and had everything I needed to be comfortable. I would recommend this to others travelling and needing to stay in the area. Definitely going on my list for places to re-visit!

This place is heaven on earth. Very refreshing and extra clean. A quiet safe getaway.

Peaceful and Beautiful a place to get away and feel safe. The ducks were the best part even though at 1st I was scared of them lol. The lake and pier was perfect. I will definitely return the owner made sure I had everything I needed. I call this place Heaven on Earth.

Peaceful and quiet

Pretty much exactly what is described. Clean and quiet on a beautiful lake. The host was kind enough to answer any questions we had and it was a pleasure to enjoy the lake some. Accommodations were clean and well appointed. My wife and Iboth commented we could have stayed there longer as opposed to only one night as this was just a stop along the way . Thanks again Corey for the stay.

Beautiful place

We stayed for a weekend with the family to attend a music festival nearby. The house was great, everything clean, comfortable, working well. Beds were comfortable, shower big and good supply of water. Breathtaking view of the lake in the morning! Owner lives upstairs, but you don't hear him at all.

One of my favorite vrbos

Very peaceful, nice place to stay. Excellent kitchen. All the upgrades were wonderful. One suggestion. The couch is pretty saggy. Everything else was great. They even have fresh firewood for you!!
