"THIS was exactly what my husband & I needed! The peace & quiet was cathartic to both of us. We LOVED the cabin & it was indeed a Fortress of Solitude in the most beautiful way! We were truly able to disconnect from our hectic jobs & responsibilities & simply BE. And yet, we ate dinner Wed night with nearby family members at the Homestead Steakhouse, and it was wonderful-both the company & the food. We will definitely return; hopefully for longer stays. "The home was in very poor condition and not clean. Hair in all the beds (the bed sheets weren’t cleaned before we arrived), brown handprints on walls, blood spots on the floor. Poor communication with the rental owner and we couldn’t get access to the home upon arrival and no response from rental owner when I reached out for help. I had to call the VRBO help center for assistance and they were finally able to contact the rental owner. I had to immediately change all the sheets, wipe down mirrors...

"Immediately walked into a clean, organized home! My family enjoyed their stay here, and I would recommend this house for families. Everything was very clean and ready for us! One tip though is if you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs as it is on a busy road! Other than that, no complaints! It is located right near a small, cute town that is accessible for all."
