Getaway

Came here for a week long getaway and could not be happier with the stay overall. The only two things that were mild inconveniences was that the thermostat on the hot tub seemed to be inaccurate making the hot tub hotter than it said it was and the mattresses on the beds were a little firmer than we liked. Other than that it was great and there was plenty to do at the house for rainy days when we didn't feel like doing much. I would definitely stay again!

Girls Wine Weekend

There were 8 girls for a wine tasting weekend. The property has four bedrooms each with a fireplace and two full bathes. No issues with all of us getting around. This property is beautiful with a gorgeous sunrise over Cayuga Lake.

Gals Weekend

It was a wonderful weekend with friends! The view was spectacular and it was great sitting with a cup of coffee looking at the lake. The hot tub and game room were well used and shared with lots of laughter. The house was spacious and clean. We look forward to booking it again!!

Girls weekend

This house was the perfect location for us for a girls weekend getaway! Very clean home with a large kitchen, spacious bedrooms, game room, and right across the street from the lake with a dock. There were plenty of wineries and distilleries within a 5 minute drive. I highly recommend this home!

Better Than Expected

Family at the lake house for Memorial Day weekend 2024. Had a great time. Everything was as described and in great conditions. Hot Tub was a welcomed addition. We enjoyed bringing the boat and enjoying time at the dock area and in the water. Great place to stay.

We came for a low-key bachelorette party, just to hang out with friends and have a girls weekend. We were right in the middle of the wine trail and had the most beautiful view of the water. We had a lovely time.

Spacious house for 7 adults and a dog. Good central location for wineries and state parks. Game room a plus especially since we stayed during the winter. Beautiful sunrises. Would stay here again.

Perfect getaway

My friends and I stayed at A Shore Thing for the weekend to celebrate our friend's upcoming wedding. It was the perfect location for wineries and one of our favorite stops, Muranda Cheese Company. We had everything we could possibly need at the house and the views were incredible. We wish we could have stayed longer to truly enjoy all the amenities. We'll be back in the summer for "shore"!

4 of us ladies stayed here for a weekend. Very spacious and many different areas to seperate yourself if you need it. Unfortunately we did not get to take advantage of the game room. We enjoyed the fireplaces in each room. We were doing crafts so we mainly sat in the sunroom the whole time. Great, spacious room. Thinking this might be our new annual place to rent.
