"The house was ok. There were 2 issues we had and I reported to owners- the kitchen sink had a horrific smell coming out of it. When we first came in we didn’t notice it much until I ran water in the sink and my goodness it was bad. It wasn’t even the side with the disposal- but the smell filled up the entire house and did not go away. We tried to put soap down the sink and run hot water but nothing worked. "We decided to rent this quaint renovated home in Springfield for our anniversary./Easter weekend. It's in walking distance of the Pythian Castle which we enjoyed the history tour, ghost tour with ghost pics to prove it and their officer lockdown which was tough but fun. Lots of restaurants, felt safe, love the house."

"Extremely disappointed with this property. The listing photos make it appear clean and well kept, but the reality was completely different. The place was dirty and clearly not properly cleaned before our arrival. Several windows didn’t even lock, which made us feel very unsafe in what already seemed like a sketchy neighborhood. Because of the condition and safety concerns, we didn’t even stay an hour before leaving. This listing is very misleading and not accurately represented."
