"We had a wonderful stay at the Lakes. It’s such a beautiful setting with so many activities on offer including a spa. We ate in the restaurant and it really is an experience- the food and service were outstanding. Bedrooms are beautiful - decor and furnishings. "Upon arriving the apartment looked lovely. Inside it was clean, light & would suit a family of 3 on a trip to Swindon. We only stayed because we were going to an event nearby that day & but to visit Swindon. First impressions were a bit of a shock as the apartment was surrounded by police & a man was lying not moving on the side of the road. Then there was the bins outside near the onsite parking. "I absolutely loved my stay at Strozzi Palace and will definitely stay again. Minor things which could’ve addressed were that the balcony area and chair cushions need some attention but it didn’t affect our stay. The room was lovely and the staff were great. I’d highly recommend. "

"A well equipped apartment, with very good, accurate information provided about the accommodation. Really appreciated the breakfast snacks and milk and juice provided. Easy access (walkable) to Stroud town centre. Quiet at night, but - I assume because some other guests were working locally - it was a bit noisy in the mornings with someone banging for quite a while on another apartment’s door before 7am and noise around the bin area even earlier. That said, overall, a good apartment and stay. "

"Think this was the cutest place ive ever stayed, very quaint and well planned for such a small space. My daughter lives in Tetbury so the location was perfect plus its a stones throw from the town centre. Bed was comfortably and everything you need was provided. Be aware of the staircase as its very steep and would say could be slippy with socks on as wooden but wasnt a problem unless perhaps you have mobility issues. There is no tv if that bothers you but i didnt miss it."
