"This is an all around great place to take your family for a beach vacation. We especially loved the outdoor space. The younger kids and adults especially liked the Lazy River. We were here during the off season and the weather was not the greatest due to hurricanes, which did not allow us to go to the beach beach for most of our trip but with the option to heat the pools it made it one of our best beach trips yet. "We loved our week at Outer Banks. Our extended family traveled together- ages 8 to 80. It was perfect! The beach was beautiful and felt private, as there were rarely more than 5 other families nearby. The swimming pool gave a great alternative to the waves for the kids and the hot tub was an amazing way to relax in the evenings!
