This was the perfect base for our vacation. It was close enough to all of the activities we wanted to do while in the area. The house is beautiful and the backyard view with the creek was relaxing and peaceful after a day of exploring. Just what we needed. This was the perfect property for our family getaway. The setting is gorgeous, right on the creek which is shallow but tubbable. The Host provides floaties and even a fishing pole. There's an outdoor shower to rinse off before enjoying a warm up in the hot tub which was clean and ready for our enjoyment. I can't say enough about the house itself. It's way more beautiful than the photos can portray and the host has really added personality with all the decor. There's all kinds of space to spread out and to hang up clothes, etc. There are two master suites and a room behind the carport. The kitchen is very well stocked. I've not seen a kitchen with so many needed items and even spices, teas, a few other things that guests have left behind. We cooked in everyday and had no shortages of dishes, utensils, baking pans or other needed items. The refrigerator has a double door opening with freezer drawer under. I don't think the ice make works.....we used the trays to make ice. Due to the warmth of the season when we were there we didn't try out the fireplaces, but we did make an outdoor fire every night which was such a treat. There was some wood there, left by another guest I suppose, and we brought our own and left a bit there for the next lucky guests. There were even those long forks for cooking marshmallows or hot dogs over the fire. The Host had kindly left us some chocolate treats to greet us and make us feel welcome. I hope to enjoy this home again someday!

My family found got great to unwind at the house after a day sightseeing in the Sedona area. Really enjoyed listening to the creek in the morning and at night. The camp fire helped take the chill at of the February air. The house had plenty room for our group of 5. We spent a lot of time in the kitchen because it felt like we were outside with all the windows.

Wendy was very welcoming and informative. Open to taking phone calls to answer questions at a moments notice. The house was cozy and peaceful. Fully stocked with anything for a comfortable stay. Yhe beds were very comfortable. The location is beautiful. It was hard to get out and sight see because staying home was such a pleasure.

This home is beautiful and Wendy is a great host. My husband, son and I came for a weekend getaway and she had a 'happy birthday' cupcake waiting for me which was incredibly sweet of her. The home is clean, and has everything you could ever need in the bathrooms and kitchen. The views are breathtaking and we enjoyed fishing the whole time we were there. I can not recommend this place enough, its a hidden gem!

We loved this house and the beautiful “back yard”. The host is communicative and very kind, we left behind headphones and she offered to mail them to our home. The only thing to note is the bathroom situation, both bathrooms are located in bedrooms. So if you have someone staying in the bedroom in the guest house they have to walk into the main house and into another bedroom to use the bathroom. Otherwise fantastic vacation stay!

QUIET, RELAXING STAY

We stayed for 3 nights. Owner was very communicative. Left directions for various items. Beautiful creek runs behind property, lots of seating outdoors. Quiet neighborhood. Not too far from freeway for day trips. The house has 2 master-bedrooms, plus bonus room. a fully stocked kitchen, laundry room. The house had anything we might have needed/forgot to bring. Thank you again.

Wonderful house

Wonderful house, rustic elegance with lots of quality natural stone and wood, interesting collectibles and antiques, comfy beds, fluffy towels, well stocked baths and kitchen. All in a beautiful setting. Love this place.

Hidden Gem

The property is great. Drinks by the creek during the heat of the day were so relaxing. The house is far enough away from busy Oak Creek and Sedona, but not far enough that you miss out on anything. Every trail we hiked was within 40 minutes and all were spectacular.The property owner was extremely helpful and welcoming. She provided us with a ton of suggestions for hikes, historical sites, dining and shopping. One of my best VRBO experiences!

Cabin on the creek

We came up for a long weekend after business in Phx. I had a personal call from the owner on acess and amenities and local information before the day. Needless to say the house and property with a live creek was perfect setting for staging some day trips to Jerome and Sedona. We truly enjoyed our time and will come back.
