"Paula and Jamie were so lovely and helpful. They upgraded us to Blue Slate Cottage as we wanted to cook more. They gave us fresh eggs and herbs from the chook pen and garden. Both cottages were were delightful with good facilities and plenty of firewood. There were lots of kangaroos, deer, goats, ducks and an emu on the property. The property is an easy drive Wombeyan Caves and Taralga. We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the peace and quiet an extra day"

"The house was warm, cozy, and tastefully furnished, truly a home away from home. As a family of six, we felt completely comfortable and had a wonderful time. Everything was thoughtfully arranged, and the atmosphere made it easy to relax and enjoy. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and stylish getaway in Crookwell."

"We had a wonderfully peaceful stay as a family of four with two kids. The spacious grounds were perfect for the kids to explore, giving them plenty of room to roam and enjoy nature. Inside and out, the property was warm and inviting, with both indoor and outdoor fires—and plenty of firewood provided, which was a lovely touch. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the host was friendly and responsive. A beautiful and relaxing country escape—we’d love to come back!"

"My sister & I stayed at The Lodge. We had a relaxing but also a fun time. So many things to do in the games room. The views are spectacular. The hosts were outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble. The Lodge had everything you could possibly need. I highly recommend this property"

"When we finally worked out where the house was on this desolate property, we were greeted by a dilapidated boxing bag and home gym on the balcony. Inside we discovered a filthy kitchen, glassware and cooking utensils, stained cushions, carpets, chairs and couch, horrendously dirty inside windows, a desolate deck, dismal firepit area, and a creepy caravan in the bushes. "Beautiful home in a great part of the world. No issues with communication or check-in even though we literally booked the accommodation the night before. Tastefully renovated and had everything that was needed and more. Being right near the Argyle Inn was an added bonus. Was a shame we were only there for the night. Looking forward to getting back there ASAP for a long weekend. "

"We had a wonderful stay at Taralga Terraces - Whiting's Store and loved the town. It was cold so we made the most of the combustion fire and the beds were cozy and warm. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathrooms had all the amenities we needed. We ventured out to Wombeyan Caves and also had dinner at The Argyle Inn which was fantastic. Crookwell is also a lovely little town. Lisa was a great host and easy to communicate with. We would love to come back to this centrally located property."
