Farmstay at Fleece, Flock & Fibre an historic railway station in Taralga

  • We have a human friendly one bedroom self-contained unit perfect for coming to meet the flock. Come and meet our flock of friendly sheep and stay in our 1 bedroom self-contained cottage. Sit and relax or explore the neighbourhood, we are close to Wombeyan Caves, the Taralga Wildlife Park and the Lindner sock factory is only a short drive away. There are some great places to eat out nearby or for those wanting to stay home the kitchen is equipped with a full sized stove, oven and refrigerator.
    For railway fans, we are literally at the end of the line. The Taralga branch line which was closed by an Act of Parliament in 1954. However there are still remains of the railways presence including 3 railway platforms, earthworks and our home, the Station masters house.

We had a wonderful time at the property, it was so peaceful and relaxing. The friendly sheep were a lot of fun to feed and we enjoyed exploring the local area. The accommodations were very spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. Everything you need is there and the hosts were extremely welcoming. Highly recommended.

A great place to stay. Friendly hosts and friendly sheep! The cottage had everything we wanted, and more! Quiet and very comfortable. Wonderfully rural and only a stone's throw from the village of Taralga.

A quaint, comfortable & spacious 'cottage'. The hosts met us personally and we had an opportunity to feed some of the sheep on the property, which was a lovely experience. Loved our stay. :)

We had a great stay at this farmstay. It has everything you need, very comfortable and lovely location in the town of Taralga. We enjoyed meeting and feeding all the sheep and lambs and the hosts are lovely and very welcoming. Thanks for having us.

Our stay was really good! Lynda got us to play with the sheeps and she told us some different types of wools. The home itself reminds me of my auntie’s which is really nice.

Lovely spot, very clean with everything that you could possibly want provided. Friendly, helpful hosts. Just got to watch that little step down to bedroom...that caught us out a few times.

Fleece, Flock & Fibre was a wonderful place to stay! It was very clean and cosy and had everything we needed. The snacks provided were an unexpected and appreciated treat and we loved the sheep. We eould definitely stay again, thank you Lynda and Paul

Whilst our stay was brief, it was a truly delightful experience. Lynda was so helpful, and Paul delighted my daughter and granddaughter with a tour and a meet and greet with the gorgeous lambs, particularly Pretty Boy Floyd. We were provided with everything we could possibly need, and I would highly recommend Fleece Flock and Fibre to anyone visiting the region

Hosts were very welcoming and shared their farmhistory life. Breathtaking views, quiet and the fresh country air, made it easy to disconnect from the city’s hustle and bustle. Accomodation was very good, spacious, clean and comfy and we enjoyed the farm activities.
