We had a great time, nearly everything was in order as expected.There was no firewood available, the fireplace didn't work and was hard to figure out the dishwasher.But the heated bathroom floor was awesome, shower was a big hit with the daughter and kids loved all the toys and games available.Definitely recommend it!

Overall it’s a decent place to stay. The property was clean and had no weird smells or artificial air fresheners which was appreciated. I do wish the lighting was better, it’s fairly dim definitely not as bright as pictured. There’s also no curtains except in the bedrooms and the AC runs constantly so even when the temperature is adjusted and the heat is on it is pretty chilly (in November). A lot of the reviews said it was “cozy” and that just wasn’t our experience, but there was nothing bad or wrong with the property. It’s definitely an older home with older home character so if that’s not what you’re looking for I wouldn’t recommend it.

Great property, awesome outdoor space and cozy sleeping arrangements for our group of 4. Our daughter loved the plentiful children's books and games. We loved the back patio and hammock and being well-situated to everything in the area. Would definitely stay again.

Fun family time

Our family of four really enjoyed staying here! There were lots of games and puzzles for the kids (ages 3 and 7). They loved the mini foosball! The backyard was quiet and peaceful. Sleeping arrangements started off great (kids in the bunk room) but then the three year old wanted to sleep upstairs… hopefully next year theirs won’t be a problem!

Cute cabin in the woods

The cabin was easy to find and perfectly located for Mt. Hood activities. As others have noted it was very clean and when we had a question Mariah responded quickly.

Great Getaway Spot

This cabin was able to accommodate my family in a way that made us feel at home for our first time in Oregon. The location is close enough yet far enough to feel like you're in a private retreat. Would definitely be rebooking on my next trip out!

Great nountain cabin experience

House is easy to get to, and perfect for a ski getaway. Close to the skiing. The house has everything that we needed. Be sure to read the welcome documents to understand the heating and house information. The house is small but worked for our family.

Great Place!

Three things stood out as big positives all related to the bathroom: 1. Adjustable height shower head 2. Fans to de-fog after showering 3. Heated floor, amazing The cabin itself is cozy with all the essentials, the yard is large, and the location picturesque.

Cozy getaway

The cabin was ideal for me and my four kids. I'd call the style vintage modern. It really was clean! We loved watching the Olympics and playing board games by the gas fireplace in the living room. The sofa in the living room may have once been a pull-out but is no longer. The studio room in the backyard was a great getaway for my tween girls. Little girl thought the bunk room was fun. Did I mention it was clean? I've stayed in older properties before where I'm nervous to sleep for fear of bugs or whatever, but not here. Great place to stay. At first the TV remotes couldn't adjust volume, but after texting the owners they gave me guidance to troubleshoot and it was an easy fix once I knew what to do. Just before checkout my daughter bonked her head on the porcelain shelf in the bathtub, and the shelf broke. I communicated this with the owners, and they were quick to respond.

Their home Our home.

This cabin is located in a silent mecca. You are located close to winter activities and small charming towns while not far from the city of Portland. It's a location that gives you a home while exploring all these different parts of Portland. The cabin is so clean, charming, cozy and accommodating. It feels like they thought of everything to make this stay lovely and restful.

Perfect fall retreat

This cabin was perfect for my hopes: quiet spot to review the year and look ahead, place to cook and rest well, and a base for day hikes in the area of Mt Hood. For half the stay the weather was Indian Summer perfect for dining outside on the deck, and the rainy cold part of the stay the fireplace quickly made the space cozy and comfortable.

Great cabin

Nice cabin in the woods. Big garden. As skiers, we loved all the skiing/wintersports accessoires in the house. Everything you need, is there. Kind host. We booked an extra night, because we liked it that much!

What a fun little cabin! We loved the board games and I had a great birthday there! Would have liked some blinds or curtains on main floor, but the space was absolutely perfect. Would love to come back and see what it's like in the winter as well! Thanks!

Lovely cabin

The cabin was super clean and was well-stocked. It was decorated in a way that was modern but also kept the older look of when it was built. We would definitely recommend it.

Mount Hood Splendor

My wife and I spent 3 days here in late August 2022. the weather was wonderful and the cabins proximity to Timberline Inn and the hiking trails was great. The cabin was furnished nicely and was very clean. We had a problem with how to turn on the shower but after that was solved everything was fine. We would definitely recommend this rental to anyone planning a trip to the Hood Wilderness.

A beautiful Cabin that has everything

We loved our stay at the cabin, it was a truly beautiful place. Mariah and Mark had thought of everything, the little touches made our stay even more special. We will miss the peace and tranquility and the amazing views of Mt Hood driving back to the cabin. The photos don't do justice to the comfort and beauty of the cabin and grounds. We hope to stay again next time we visit Oregon. Thank you Mariah and Mark for being such amazing hosts! 😊
