We loved that the house was tucked away and very close to everything Hood River has to offer. Our young boys enjoyed the deck and referred to the house as the "tree house."

Mother daughter weekend

Cute, Clean Cottage with Great Deck, Close to Town

I came with a friend to run an ultra race at Mount Hood. The house was perfect: clean, quiet, close to town. The window AC and fans were more than enough in the middle of a heat wave. Parking and driveway were as described but not a problem.

Nice to be in town!

Very nice house with everything you need and some extras like the view from the deck! Well equiped kitchen and great cross ventilation. House was well stocked with supplies (thank you). We really enjoyed our stay!

Great Cozy Place

Close to town, clean, nice deck with views of the river. We had great wind for windsurfing and wing foiling. Thoroughly enjoyed our second time there.

Great property with large wrap around deck. Walkable to downtown though it has some elevation. Really steep driveway was a little interesting.

Cozy cottage with river view

Hillside cottage with a wrap around deck. Lots of outdoor seating. Tucked away location but be prepared for the steep driveway and many stairs to downtown if walking. Inside was as advertised and had everything we needed for our stay. If you want to hang out outside this place is for you. The inside living room area was not ideal to watch TV but that didn’t bother us. Friendly neighborhood cat came to visit. We would stay here again.

Great Location and Views

The driveway wasn't that troublesome for us. I could see this being an issue with an ECar. We want to come back at some point in the future! Thank you for a great stay and your generosity!

Perfect

Location, beautiful quiet deck with lovely gardens & view. Just a walk away from the little shops of Hood River. The steps to town were a serious calf workout! We loved it & will hopefully stay again! Lots of extras in the kitchen too!

Cozy house with fantastic views!!

I travelled to Hood River to visit our daughter and her boyfriend. We loved the house~ it was super comfortable and had everything we needed for a long weekend. We didn’t walk into ton because the weather was rainy, but I would have loved to experience the giant flight of stairs that takes you up the hill from town. I would love to stay there again!

Killer View

My husband and I enjoyed this place. The house is simple, clean, and easy. It is nestled into the hillside, surrounded by trees, squirrels, and birds. The views of the Columbia River and the Hood River Bridge are exceptional! A 4-wheel drive is needed to get down the super steep driveway, but there’s room at the bottom to easily turn around. The location is convenient to everything.
