"My daughter and I stayed in the Orme lodge, it was lovely. Nice and warm, squirrels outside the windows. Hot tub is just a hot tub - not one with bubbles! so don't look for a button to press lol Very peaceful. If you go with kids (i went with teenager) then maybe take a laptop to watch netflix etc on. wifi connection great. Don't wear sliders on your feet when trying to do the fire or else you will slip on the mud which is hilarious to a teenager btw. Hot tub takes about 4 hours to...

"Our stay was perfect. We were away for a romantic trip and the cottage was perfect for that. The cottage was beautiful and had everything you could possibly need for a romantic few days away, including two big bath towels each, never mind all the other little touches and the excellent welcome basket. "This was a lovely property to stay in, and our hosts Karl and Helen were so thoughtful with the set up. It had everything we needed, from kitchen ware to bathroom essentials, including feminine hygiene products. They left us a loaf of bread and some milk so even breakfast and tea were sorted.The little patio was so nice and gave us the privacy we needed. "The accommodation is very well equipped and had everything that we needed for our stay. It was like a home from home and has been very well thought out. The house is just a short walk from a large supermarket, bus station and selection of bars and restaurants. Our family took a bus into Liverpool and also toured North Wales and went to Chester Zoo nearby during our stay. We would highly recommend this property."

"This was our first time staying here and it certainly won't be our last. The shepherd's hut is beautifully decorated and has such a cosy and comfortable feel to it. The under floor heating kept it lovely and warm too despite the snow outside (which also made it super pretty). "La habitación estaba sucia, el baño también, no servía el teléfono, no limpiaban la habitación. Pedí todos los días que repararan el teléfono y en mis 3 días de estancia, no repararon nada, por lo tanto, si necesitabas limpieza o shampoo o algo, tenías que ir directamente al escritorio a pedirlo, aunque no harían caso ya que solo lo escribían y no hacían nada. De los peores hoteles de esta cadena que regularmente son muy buenos hoteles."
