"Simple self check in into a narrow hall way leading up some stairs to get to the rooms. This area was will lit and secure. The room itself was well equipped with fridge/freezer microwave kettle etc and fresh milk and bottled water was left in the fridge. Two wall mounted TV's with working remotes and cutlery and pots etc all available. Comfy bed with towels provided for the lovely bathroom with walk in shower. All in all everything you need for a short stay away."

"My daughter and I stayed in the Orme lodge, it was lovely. Nice and warm, squirrels outside the windows. Hot tub is just a hot tub - not one with bubbles! so don't look for a button to press lol Very peaceful. If you go with kids (i went with teenager) then maybe take a laptop to watch netflix etc on. wifi connection great. Carol the owner had messaged me earlier in the day with directions which was a nice welcome. She had also given us a lovely recommendation for somewhere to eat that evening. "Absolutely incredible stay. We done 3 nights and didn't want to leave! The place was spotless, incredibly homely and comfortable. There were even complimentary cakes and wine left for us. Honestly couldn't have asked for anything more. Our toddler loved having goats on our doorstep and walking down to see the pigs. The area was incredibly quiet and peaceful with nothing but a beautiful field behind us. The back garden with the hot tub is very private even though you have neighbours either side...

"Cabin was awesome everything was spot on. Location was ideal for us for our weekend. Credit to the owners. My Girlfriend loved the horses. The views are amazing so peacefull. Couldnt belive how dark it was at night with no light polution. So much to see and do locally ran out of time. The Hot tub was great the hamper was thoughtfull. So peacefull. Best stay away we have had going to be hard to beat. Will be back again soon. "
