"I booked this apartment because the description said it was within walking distance of Sandwich town centre, and the map that was displayed prior to booking indicated it was located off Moat Sole in Sandwich town centre. It was only after I had gone through the booking process for what was a seriously expensive booking, a new address was provided for the property approx 1.6 miles away in Woodnesborough! I have restricted mobility and needed to be closer to the town so I asked if I could cancel....

"When we arrived to check in the room was not ready. Turns out they were not even aware of our booking until we showed it to them. We then had to wait two hours whilst the owner came to the property to get the room ready. Waiting outside in the side proved to be a disaster as their outdoor table and chair was covered in a black bitumen type substance that got all over the bottom of my trousers and completely ruined them. "We booked 3 nights at the Pegwell and I would say it’s the best hotel in Ramsgate. From getting a nice early check in, to the delicious breakfast every thing was spot on. The walk into Ramsgate is around 40 minutes and is lovely, we found the location perfect, and very quiet. Highly recommend the hotel and Ramsgate for a weekend break."
