"We loved the property, the location was close enough to the town of Hanna, and Paia but still as peaceful and calm as it gets. The home was updated inside and very clean, we loved the evening breeze and the large eaves on the roof that allowed the windows to stay open even during the evening rain showers. Wi-Fi worked great, and beds were comfortable. One big bonus which our family loved was the little black cat who hung out in the front yard and porch. He was as friendly as can be, and never...

"The cottage is so thoughtfully designed and includes everything you need. The view is perfection. You are on the beach in about a minute. Walk to Nalu's, Akamai coffee and just about anywhere else you may want or need. The location makes it easy to drive to Wailea, upcountry and Maalaea harbor. The cottage is a wonderful alternative to a condo/resort and we loved it. We spend 10 nights and didn't want to leave. It became home away from home. Thank you to manager Amber for a seamless stay."

"Just returned from 10 days at Hanks cottage in Haiku.The place is so well appointed. Comfy king bed, nice furnishings, all you need in a kitchen and nice bathroom.A deck that wraps around the house, with a view over the trees out to the ocean. The place is surround with trees, hedges and flowering shrubs. Total privacy! Great retreat after a busy day. Hank was a great host!"

"This property is absolutely breathtaking, I’m sure I took atleast 50 pictures or the view from the bedroom alone. The hosts were extremely kind and welcoming and were quick to answer with any questions we had. This was our last stop on our elopement/honeymoon in Maui and it was the perfect relaxing and quiet end to it. We would love to come back again someday soon."

We saw deer walking a trail right underneath the deck and of course there are lots of chickens and roosters!
