"The host was very nice and helpful. The fresh eggs were a nice touch thanks Jerry. The rooms were all clean and tidy, and the beds were super comfy. both the kitchen and laundry were adequate. Shirley suffers from the cold and we found it a little bit difficult to keep her warm. Mark you, the weather didn't help at all as it was raining and cold for the first 5 days. On the down side, the patio, and path could do with a good waterblasting, not just to clean it up but to stop it from being so...

"We 100% recommend this property to anyone who wants to explore this stunning part of NZ. Our only regret is not having more time to utilise the kayaks and take in the sights of the river.The house is very modern and comfortable and where very surprised with a well stocked fridge of homemade goodies for our breakfast the next day.
