"We 100% recommend this property to anyone who wants to explore this stunning part of NZ. Our only regret is not having more time to utilise the kayaks and take in the sights of the river.The house is very modern and comfortable and where very surprised with a well stocked fridge of homemade goodies for our breakfast the next day. Communication with the host was easy and they were very responsive to any questions and requests.Would love to return here soon. "

"This is a beautiful home. The decor was of a very high standard with a very well equipped kitchen. Really comfortable beds and large bedrooms. Great washing machine& dryer. The host Rob was absolutely brilliant when we were stranded by the tropical cyclone heading straight for us and did everything he could to make sure we were safe. The house is right on the edge of the lake, with great views and plenty of kayaks for everyone. I can highly recommend to his home for your vacation. Excellent. "

"Lovely couple hosting this studio, which had a fully equipped kitchen which we used for cooked breakfast and snacks. The accommodation was very clean, modern and comfortable. We had dinner out each evening at Waihi or Katikati. No shops nearby but we planned accordingly. "

"This place would be fantastic in the summer, just a little bit cold for this time of the year. We spent all our time in the kitchen area which is very sunny and a smaller area to heat at night.It brought back memories of living in Christchurch in the ‘50s, similar furniture, similar decor.The property is very well located for the amenities of the Mount."
