"We checked in late, and staff seemed to be attending a function or dinner crowd? He was very friendly and accomodating, but the organization of the establishment was lacking. Didnt know the room, the price, and didnt take my card info. The suite we reserved appeared to have been given away or unavailable, and we were given the choice of a room w a Sofa bed (that we unfolded and no interest), or a white rugged room that could not be locked from the inside."

"We arrived about 8:30pm and appreciated the open door and easy check-in. The room and beds were very comfortable. The shower was great too! Being at the end of the hall was nice - more private. Breakfast was amazing. We loved the fresh fruit, homemade blueberry muffins, and fresh bread and oatmeal with toppings. Scrambled eggs and toast too. Very comfy stay. We'll be back! Close to The Adirondacks hikes we'd planned."

"Spectacular interior spaces and super friendly owner. The interior is filled with incredible woodwork, especially grand staircase. Our suite was large and comfortable. Books everywhere to read. Great amount of satisfying choices for breakfast. We were pleasantly stuffed afterwards. Close to several restaurants. We were biking the Erie Canal Trail from Syracuse to Amsterdam NY and it was very convenient, close to trail and owner insisted on having our bikes inside. Loved it!!!"

"We had a very comfortable stay in an adjacent building above a restaurant. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The breakfast delicious and served on a lovely screened porch. The only thing I would recommend is in the adjacent building. It’s to change the carpet in the upstairs hallway. There was a musty smell. Our room was perfectly clean and didn’t have any odor. It was only in the hallway."

"While the rooms and furnishings are very nice, the bathrooms we not cleanly or updated. The night I stayed there, the power had gone off and there was no air conditioning and the no water. This could be a nice B&B but the outdoors need to be improved. For starters, they could remove the junk water heater from the front porch."
